What Guests Say About Their Stay

My family of four (two adults, two kids 14 and 11) stayed one night at AMC Granada, and it was perfect for our needs. The location can’t be beat: right on Plaza Nueva with the bus stop just outside; and the royal palace, the cathedral, the Corral del Carbon, and the Alcaiceria all within a five minute walk. The room was small and bare bones, but we knew that going in since it matched the pictures and description. There was a shower with squirt shampoo, a toilet with paper, a sink with squirt soap, a hair dryer, four glasses, four towels, a TV, a small lounge chair, a double bed, two single beds, and plenty of outlets. The only thing we might have appreciated is a little fridge for the drinks we bought down the street, but otherwise we had everything we needed. The stand up balcony opened right onto Plaza Nueva, and we were treated with a little flamenco show outside. The bus C31 to take us up to the Albayzin and the Mirador San Nicolas was right outside the hotel. The communication before, during, and after our stay via WhatsApp was timely, courteous, and helpful. We could have left our bags as we checked in early (and could have left them after checking out had we needed), but the room was already ready upon our early arrival. Finally, the price was excellent. For anyone looking to spend one night in Granada, I wouldn’t hesitate!

Great location. It is a smaller property operated/managed by a nearby hotel. Having said that, it was well-staffed and easy to reach someone anytime there wasn’t someone at the front desk. It is in an area full of tons of tourists, which can be good or bad, depending on what you are looking for.

Great location, amazing staff and well kept room. This place exceeded our expectations. Special shout out to the staff who were extremely friendly and could converse in English, both of which are not easy to find in Spain.

The instructions from the hotel on how to get there were amazing on arrival the staff were wonderful in getting us to our car park. They then directed us to our hotel just up the road, this hotel was lovely with some charm, the small balcony was nice but not quite sealed from the sound from the street but noise didn’t seem to be any problem. The beds were comfortable the bathroom functional, the rooms are on the smaller side but work. Location is perfect and walking distance to absolutely everything. The staff were really wonderful

Room was clean and staff helpful in providing pro tips on navigating the traffic-restricted Old Town streets, which can get very narrow and seem like driving in a pedestrian mall…breakfast in the sister hotel next door and also underground parking in same place. If you have a big car the spaces may be too tight. Staff accommodated our request to stay another night in Granada.

The hotel was perfectly fine given the price point for which we paid and its fantastic central location. It is a no frills hotel, with basic (and few) amenities. Main flag is that the hotel operates with a sister/second building a street over, so when you check in at the main desk you might not be staying in that building but a different one. Our review considers this second building, so perhaps the core hotel with central desk has more to offer. Car park is useful BUT very tight. Anything bigger than a standard car will have a little struggle. Bring your own iron. Theirs was no good.

Excellent location, very clean and comfortable. Friendly and helpful staff on site. Close to everything and taxis are cheap so you don’t need a car. Actually having a car gets in the way since parking is expensive ($23 Euros) and there are so many restrictions to drive in that area with stiff fines if you inadvertently drive on the wrong street.

The receptionist at the AMC Granada was fabulous. Our room was clean and comfortable and I was pleased that the hotel let us know about the water shortage so we could be cautious in our water usage as well. We liked the balconies opening to the street, though it was a bit loud on Saturday night. Appreciated having a kettle and tea in our room. Tiny bathroom. Location was great, we walked everywhere from there. It’s Just in the square, downhill of Alhambra.
