Hotel Montepiedra

We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend, firstly the really positive points: Staff were amazing, so helpful and couldn't do enough for you. Lovely pool area, really clean and always sunbeds available. We paid slightly more for a room next to the pool and would really recommend doing this. Food absolutely stunning, we ate breakfast most mornings and the variety and quality of the food was fantastic. We also had lunch and dinner on numerous days and always of a fantastic standard. It's a lovely quiet location, there are a few high quality restaurants within walking distance and also a Carrefour, as we had a fridge in the room we were able to buy water, beers, cokes etc and bring them back to the hotel. Overall, a fabulous stay and we will definitely be back! A couple of very minor points that could be improved: Bathroom amenities were a bit low quality (apart from lovely handsoap) and they weren't replenished when they ran out. I also feel a box of tissues would have been good. Coffee pods were not replenished regularly in the room. The balcony got covered in bird poo daily and didn't seem to be cleaned, we wiped down the table and chairs each night to sit out there. The breakfast was amazing and so varied and tasty although the temperature of the food was always quite cold, think they need better hot plates. There is a microwave though and we put our plated breakfast in it for a minute and it was great.

I love staying at this hotel.I,ve stayed there five times and will continue any chance I get.

Nice, close to the beach location, accessibility friendly. Cosy and silent.

Excellent hotel, lovely staff

A warm welcome from friendly staff and a clean and confortable room. One of the comfiest hotel beds I've experienced. The rooms are well equipped and a great shower too. Breakfast was a wonderful selection of continental, fresh fruit, cooked breakfast and pastries. The bar was well stocked and reasonably priced! A fantastay and would highly recommend

Lovely room and fantastic staff, excellent location and condition

The room was spacious and clean. Beautiful breakfast and pool side. We also enjoyed the gym facility as well. Overall very happy with the stay.

Nice hotel Staff were friendly Parking is expensive 9 euros a night. Rooms were nice

The Hotel is listed as 4 star S. On arrival, Reception areas look great. Neat and tidy. Check in staff were very welcoming. Room is shabby, grubby and looks like a butlins chalet from the 80s. Desperately requires updating to match 4 star S rating. Room so small we could not wheel our cases into space Ants everywhere so had to put our belongings back in our cases. Paid for 10 days with breakfast, but left after 2 as our patio door was wide open by a staff member, on our return on second day, leaving our passports and money at risk. We left after 2 days and paid for Air bnb for remaining 8 days which was perfect. Very disappointed. A marked difference between Reception areas and guest rooms.

Overall a very good hotel in a lovely area close to the beach. The hotel has been renovated well and to a decent standard. A few money grabs that really should not have been there with a 4 star hotel like charging for pool towels and parking. But can’t fault the team and place overall

Lovely friendly hotel, great swimming pool and comfortable rooms. Reception and restaurant staff very helpful and chatty. Great safe parking at the rear with security barriers. Close to restaurants and the beach and sea.

I absolutely love this hotel. The staff are so helpful and friendly. The rooms are clean and comfortable especially the beds. The atmosphere is one of calm and tranquility. The food is excellent and the location is perfect. Just a five minute walk from the beach and not too far from shopping and restaurants. I have been there three times and will definitely be going again.

Great location and just a short walk from the marina. Lovely service and nice pool.

Access to the restaurant was not available due to large bookings for several football teams. The menu was limited and no access to the restaurant. We were not advised of this in advance. We ate out. Something I have never experienced in Spain is that they served orange squash at breakfast not juice!! You had to pay each day to rent a kettle and no tea or coffee provided. The rating sates four stars, this is not the case.

Would recommend the hotel for a quiet break but not a lot to do in the immediate area
