We had an outstanding stay at Hotel Central Luzern—this hotel truly made our stay in Switzerland very memorable! The location is absolutely amazing; everything in the city is within short walking distance, and the main train station is just a few minutes away on foot, making getting around super easy. The customer service here is top-tier. The receptionist was so polite, welcoming, and thoroughly explained the area to us, giving us fantastic recommendations for exploring the Old City along with free local bus passes. The room was wonderfully cozy and stylish, complete with a comfortable blue armchair, an in-room safe, plenty of closet hangers, and complimentary Valser bottled water. Since Swiss hotels often don't have built-in AC, I really appreciated the helpful room guide packed with tips on managing the summer heat. When we requested an extra fan, staff brought it to our room within one minute of asking! On top of that, 24/7 access to the ice machine and guest fridge in the lounge was an absolute game-changer in the summer heat.

Absolutely loved the location - in the old town and very close to the train station. Staff was very nice and accommodating. Room was clean and nice. However, there is no air-conditioning (only fan) -that is the only downside. Other than the lack of air-conditioning - everything was perfect.

Very handy location, about a 5 minute walk from the main train station; adjacent to “Central” tram stop & the Polybahn funicular. Tons of restaurants within a 5 minute walk. Starbucks on one side & a cafe/bakery on the other. Coop store with great selection of takeout food across the street. Excellent “economy” choice for walking around the old part of the city. The hotel’s restaurant is closed till +/-mid-August, but the breakfast room is open & very good. This is an old building, with small, basic rooms. No air-conditioning, but with fans, it was fine. Lounge room is a nice touch. Very helpful staff.
