Beautiful

The spa was outstanding! I experienced the best massage that I have ever had there. The room was very clean and quiet with a beautiful view of the garden. You really get a sense of privacy. The gorgeous resort is on a beautiful island and it feels so serene just walking around. It's a short boat ride to the mainland - very easy to coordinate and we never had to wait for more than a few minutes for the boat. Easy access to restaurants on the mainland. All of the staff there were so friendly and helpful which made our stay so special.

The installations of the hotel are fantastic and it has a great potential to be an outstanding hotel. It is just a shame that it isn’t what you expect based on the reviews online. The service although most of the people working there are really trying their best they are not to the standard of a 5 star hotel. Over 50% of them don’t really speak English and it is impossible to talk to them or for them to understand you. Some of the facilities that are on site are not really open to the public. In our booking it says 2 restaurants but in reality there’s only the pool cafe open and the second restaurant is only use for private events. There’s a yoga, Pilates, sauna etc but none of it is advertised at all by any of the employees so we only figured they existed when we went around the premises and saw them. Of course we were not aware if they are open or not as no one gave us any information. The room is beautiful but we were never able to talk to reception as the phone only works for the “in dining menu” there’s no map of the hotel or any explanation if we can use the bicycles or if we need to rent them. The lack of clarity made our stay less comfortable.

Excellent service and amenities. The food at the restaurant was too cheff! Spa and private boat to the marker river incredible! We are coming back for sure with more family members!

I recently stayed at this resort and had a wonderful experience. The atmosphere is very quiet and relaxing—perfect for escaping the noise of the city. The view from the resort is stunning, and everything around feels calm and refreshing. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, which made our stay even more enjoyable. One of the highlights of my trip was riding a bike with my son around the area—it was a special and memorable moment for both of us. The pool was amazing as well. The water was very clean, and it was a great place to unwind and cool off. Overall, it was a perfect day to relax and recharge. I’d definitely recommend this resort to anyone looking for a peaceful break.

The place was immaculate, real oasis to unwind and switch off. Beautiful rooms and grounds of the hotel. The only downside where prices. While i understand its a 5 star hotel they really charging A LOT for food and drinks comparing to other similar rank hotels. We were gratefull for early check in and late check out. Thank you to all lovely staff who looked after us

If you need a place to relax and away from the world this is it!! Love how they go out of their way to please the customer. It was my birthday they presented a beautiful cake set up on the table and the view of the room was so beautiful special in the morning with the sunrise at night time all the light lit up! Highly recommend

This hotel was immaculate. Upon arrival, the staff escorts you on a boat to a private island - a beautiful, hidden oasis in the heart of the Mekong Delta. The staff at Azerai Can Tho is impeccable and caters to your every need ensuring you are as comfortable as possible. The food options are delicious and I highly recommend the sunset river cruise. The views are beautiful, and the snack options are divine. I have stayed in many 5 star properties in over 45 countries around the world and this is one of the nicest I’ve ever stayed in.

This is a truly unique place. Positioned on an island and accessible only by boat, this resort is like an oasis in the middle of the big city. You feel like you're hundreds of miles away from civilization and yet it is only a short 5min boat ride away. Resort operates a fleet of boats and can transport you to and from the city 24hrs a day. There are free boat rides during the morning and afternoon hours but you can simply ask for a boat anytime day or night and for less than $4 per roundtrip they will get you one in 15min or less. Once off the island, the boat drops you off within walking distance of Ninh Kieu marina district of Can Tho and you can walk around for hours enjoying local markets and restaurants. Once back at the resort, the rooms are wonderfully appointed and big with high ceilings and comfortable lounging chairs inside and outside. for the most quiet experience, rent the pond (lake) view room, but if you want to see the boats passing by, rent the river view room. There are also villas available from 1bdrm to 5bdrms, some come with private pools. The food is simply spectacular with food quality approaching Michelin rated restaurants. Free bike rentals are great to explore the property. One small suggestion is to keep the mail pool open beyond 6pm, because during most of the day, it is simply too hot to enjoy a nice swim and pool closes literally immediately after the sundown. Keeping it open until 8-9pm would allow to enjoy the water without fear of sunburn.

Relaxing calm oasis , great staff, beautifully appointed resort, would definitely return and recommend.

Wow..loved this place and exceeded our expectations with standard of food and service. The grounds are beautifully and immaculately kept. Its a wonderful quiet place to stay for a few days relaxing whilst visiting the local floating markets. We will return.

The site is incredible, so clean, so beautifull, the landscape is fantastic. The only downside is that it is on an island so a boat is required to go on and off to the city.

It’s on an island, and the lake and trees were original and not cut down or altered for the resort. Manager Patty was superb! We didn’t like that breakfast is not included with such a high price tag per night, particularly since it’s on an island and there’s really no other option short of going on a boat. Additionally, taxes and VAT should be included on the menu prices, spa menu and room service menu in order to eliminate surprises at the end.

Darn it! Is there no way to give 6 stars!? We have stayed in many excellent places in the world....and this stands firmly as a world class resort. Located on its own quiet island a short boat ride from the city. The magic begins from the moment you step aboard the resort boat crossing over to the island. A warm reception which includes a cool towel and cold drink is much appreciated in the heat of the Mekong Delta. The grounds are peaceful and well landscaped, the pool is large and inviting with an outdoor bar. A large new spa is on site. The tour of the spa has made me sad, as I know I may never find another hotel with a spa this nice again. Newly built and spotlessly clean, the rooms have robes, snacks and generous sized supplies of shampoos and conditioners all provided in the soothingly decorated rooms. There are two restaurants on site and we are only able to review one, as we loved the food so much, we kept going back. Lovely large selection of Vietnamese food at the cafe which is open for breakfast, lunch and dinners. Wonderful food from the start of the freshly baked bread all the way through to the desserts. Not many restaurants are this good for all courses. But what really makes this place feel so special is the staff. Whether it’s checking in, ordering a cold drink by the pool or having a delicious meal, the staff will make you feel both welcome and special.
