Am giving yhis a very low rateing of 2 stars. I payed £130 for a room breakfast and use of pool. Put on arrival i got told pool and sauna is not included to which i had tp pay exter £10 each. The pool and the spa was cold The steam room stayed on for 5min then went off for 10min as it was on a timer we then had to pay extra for breakfast This is not clealy showing on there site as you pay for just room only. when i booked myself in at the desk the afternoon staff at the desk were very helpful. The next mornin i went down to the deck To be stud around for 10min as no staff were on the desk. I then came back down to hand my key in. Myself and 2 other customers was stud around again for 10min as no staff. But some good points the Rooms were clean and bed was really comfortable. I will not be staying at that hotel again as it miss leadingthat you have to pay extra for breakfast, the use of the pool and towels.

The only downfall I found was there wasn't enough plug sockets, one by each side of the bed would help a lot. Apart from that we really enjoyed our stay.

Really happy with hotel. I was surprised that we had to pay £10 each for the spa, because last time it was included in the price. Evening meal was really nice. Breakfast wasn’t as good. Would definitely stay again though

Unfortunately if you book a room through anyone other than the hotel then the spa facilities cost extra and the availability of the sessions in the spa are limited to 12 people at a time and are usually booked days in advance. To be charged extra for the spa after booking into a hotel advertised as hotel and spa, I was quite shocked. They will also charge extra for a towel and significantly extra for a robe. The rooms aren’t services unless requested, which we didn’t read until our second evening after wondering why the room hadn’t been serviced. If you wanted extra coffee and tea, it is an additional £5 per tray… the rooms are cramped in tightly and there is no telephone in the room so if you have any queries, then you have to walk a long way to find help. Such a shame as the location was great and the lady on the reception was very friendly but it is way too expensive for what you get here, I would advise to look elsewhere.

Room 205 has ro be the worst room without a view ive ever stayed in. The noise from the extraction system was too loud for me to open the window and get some fresh air. I was very disappointed overall. However the bed was comfy and the shower pleasant. The wash hand basin was a bit of a joke being lilliputian and more akin to a tiny loo under the stairs! Breakfast was good and staff pkeasant.

Room felt neglected. Friendly staff. Worn carpets with age dirt. No support in mattress head was lower than feet. Heavily rotten window frame. Asked to move rooms and staff helped after a bit of waiting. Had to pay extra to use the small pool which I didn't see in the initial advert. Couldn't see it when I looked back.

The staff were very courteous but the hotel was let down by us having to move room immediately as there was a main light not working and there weren’t any replacement bulbs available. The room did actually smell very unpleasant, so the move was welcomed. Our second room (217) was fine but maintenance had to visit as the radiators were cold and required bleeding.
