It was clean, in an amazing location for going downtown. I wish I knew the lady who checked us in but she gave us so many recommendations for places to est and was a absolute treat to deal with.

Beautiful historic hotel in a great location next to the Public Gardens and the Citadel. 15-minute walk to the waterfront. Rooms were clean, and the beds were comfortable.

The Lord Nelson Hotel is so beautiful but the staff were excellent in answering all our questions. So centrally located. Hotel rooms were comfy, had all the bells + whistles we've come to expect in a hotel stay. Complimentary water so appreciated. Indoor parkade by a mall? How perfect! We will be back again someday we hope.

Beautiful old hotel right downtown close to everything, if you don't mind walking up/down hills. The Victorian gardens across the street was a nice spot for morning coffee. Citadel just down the street and less 20 minutes to the harbour. High quality linens and soaps were provided. Fancy nexpresso machine in the room. Tv said it was streaming capable, never tried. I WAS IN HALIFAX. :)

Superbe hôtel près de tout. Notre chambre était même prête lors de notre arrivée à 10h le matin! Le stationnement payant sur place était parfait pour visiter sans se casser la tête.

Clean room, kind staff

Comfortable Hotel and friendly staff.

When we checked in we noticed that the toilet was running. During our 2 day stay it remained so, even though we notified the front desk twice. Terrible waste of water. We also did not have a good experience with the parking facility. High cost to park. And our card did not work when we tried to exit the parking. Room was nice though.

Second stay here. Rooms are clean. They aren’t all the same size so ask when booking. Staff great. Food excellent

Great location in Halifax as it is close to shopping, restaurants and walking distance to the Halifax Harbour. The room was not very large, but it was clean. Front staff did not seem overly welcome or friendly, which was the complete opposite of other hospitality staff that we encountered in Nova Scotia.

Large room, clean everything we needed

The hotel is fine, but the staff are not very helpful. For a four star hotel I would’ve expected our room to be made up every day. It was not. Had to call for towels multiple times. The location isn’t great. It’s near the citadel, but most of the good restaurants and bars are near the harbour and walking down the Main Street at night is an adventure. Overall I think the hotel is okay, but I won’t stay there on my next trip to Halifax.

Great hotel for me and my daughter. It was beautiful and spacious. Staff was helpful and fixing the shower drain which was slow draining initially.
