Nice stay,comfortable roomgreat breakfast friendly staff

Only one night in Carcassonne and the old city was a bit of a disappointment, thankfully the hotel was lovely - small, family run, and parking was a bit of a faff - but enchanting. Apart from yet another sliding glass door 'covering' the loo, and annoyingly loud music all evening in the bar/restaurant/garden, it was a nice space to spend time. Food options were limited but nice, staff deserve special mention - top notch! Spaniel is your best friend if you have food, cat takes further convincing- would be amazing in summer I think.

Friendly hotel right beside the old city

Hotel location and general atmosphere was great! Room was also pretty good size and comfortable. But the fact that the hotel offers on small tapas plates or jars of food is strange. The breakfast was also very limited for a 4 star hotel. It was just 2 pieces of cheese, a piece of ham and then pastries and one boiled egg. I would expect more and the fact that you can’t really have a real dinner is annoying especially when you want to just chill at the hotel. They siggested we can order Uber eats but would have to eat in our room…..although they also agreed that the restaurant does not serve real dinner.

Lovely place and great location, help with finding dinner on a Sunday night and was able to book a massage - what a highlight of our trip in southern France!

It is literally yards away from the castle and the room is wonderful and quiet. The staff is very attentive and speak English

Such a lovely hotel a few steps from entrance to the castle with incredible views. The staff was attentive and helpful. We had a wonderful massage and enjoyed the spa amenities. A great getaway!

Lovely hotel next to the historic walls of the town, easy walk to find the sights and nice spots to eat and drink. Nice pool too.

Outstanding location, amenities and service. Carcassone is amazing, but it’s busy with tourists so we were VERY glad we didn’t stay in the walled city itself. This is a close as you can get and still have a quiet, refined place to crash after wandering around the amazing historic location. Taxi service is spotty at best from the train station so have the hotel reserve one to pick you up if taking the train. Would absolutely stay here again.
