We really liked the convenience factor for the wedding we were attending in Eridge. The rooms (x3) were basic with a king bed ( a Superking would have fitted) , two old looking arm chairs ( from a care home?) a VERY modern glass desk and modern oak headboard. The paint colours on the walls were nice, but the carpet was a sort of light charcoal (sensible rather than pretty) and the huge Roman blind was a strong cream with two strips of dark brown either side. It was as if three different people had separately decorated the room! Rather odd, we felt. The shower had waves of hotter and colder water, which made for a bit of excitement in the mornings …. Breakfast was very good; they brought me a freshly sliced avocado on toast, rather than risk the ready mixed variety’s strength of chilli.

A really good stay, clean rooms with air conditioning that actually works, enjoyed the food also, I will stay again when in the area.

Superb staff, all staff went out of their way to be friendly and helpful. Food was exquisite too every meal was fab in the Orangery and the bar. Beautiful hotel, just a short walk from Pantiles or you can catch the bus downhill. My only criticism was the taxi service provided by the hotel, they charged us 8 pounds to take us down the road to Pantiles which was overpriced. We didn't use that taxi service again.

This is a wonderful hotel, the facilities are great with a nice pool, gym, sauna and stream room all included in your stay. The breakfast is fantastic with a range of really quality options to choose from. The air conditioned rooms were an absolute must in the recent heatwave and meant you could get a great night's sleep. My biggest compliments have to go to the staff though, I interacted with so many of them throughout my stay and they were all so friendly and helpful which is such a rarity, so full credit to them, especially Keira at breakfast who was amazing. I already can't wait to come back and stay here again!

Superior room was over the kitchen area which had big fans on the roof. Ended up in a much smaller room than we had paid for!

Lovely place to stay for weekend away. Comfortable, clean and helpful staff. Enjoyed breakfast selection. Great place to walk from town centre and to High Rocks if you want to get the steps in!

Our Cosy Double was as advertised -small but well furnished and equipped with everything you could need. It was very clean. We had a lovely view of the extensive gardens. The breakfast was delicious, plenty of choice and freshly prepared and great service too. We also had a meal in the bar and that too was very good. The gardens are delightful and we walked around them many times and it was a real bonus to have several sightings of the deer. A small negative was that we had not realised that there are some EV chargers tucked away at the very back of the car park, as there is no information on this on the website or booking form and it was not mentioned to us at any point. Only late in our stay did we become aware of this. Process for using them is also a bit clunky - you have to plug in and ask reception to activate and the fee is a bit steep £20 for 24hrs if you are just wanting to top up. Nevertheless we had a lovely stay and would highly recommend the hotel.

Good twin bed hotel room for a nights stay. Clean crisp bed linen. Powerful shower and plenty of hot water. Breakfast okay.
