The friendly staff offered me an upgrade to a corner room with a larger view, but it turned out to be facing the blazing sun. There were no curtains in some areas, so the AC wasn't cooling properly. If they had told me about this upfront, I would have declined. Otherwise, it was great...

The hotel is okay, the food is okay, and the staff are friendly. However, for added comfort and safety, there should be staff/staff monitoring the pool area, especially during high season, when many children swim but jump around, and many parents still smoke in the pool area.

Everything is okay, from entering to exiting. Well served. It's just that the front security guard is not good. A little disappointed, but let it be.

It's nice, but it's a shame that for a hotel in the 1 million range, some rooms don't have smart TVs. And the bathroom windows could use some mildew removal. Overall, it's good.

I took a junior suite on July 21, 2026. The receptionist said, "There will be fruit in the room, ma'am." I was happy at first, but then I found the fruit looked like this photo. Wow, wow, Cambridge Hotel Medan's service is extraordinary. Even though I didn't ask for it, they gave it, but not the best.

This was my first time staying at this hotel. I originally wanted to try out the pool, but it turned out they were under renovation. I happened to be on vacation and had rented a motorbike, but... wow, the parking was so far away. And I had to go through the mall right next to the hotel. Breakfast was okay, though.
