Our stay at the Cambridge Hotel Medan was very pleasant. We were greeted warmly by the receptionist, Ms. Fira. Check-in was quick and easy. One of our rooms was upgraded from a superior to a deluxe room. The hotel facilities were quite good: the room was clean, the bathroom clean, and the shower powerful. The hotel staff, especially the receptionists who greeted guests at check-in, provided very poor service. Specifically, the three staff members on duty on May 22-23, 2026, showed no smiles or friendliness, had sullen faces, and in my opinion, provided poor service. This was a very bad experience. We urge hotel management/supervisors on duty to retrain these CS staff.
