The room is spacious, well maintained for the bedding and furniture. But, the management needs to pay attention to the walls as well, many sides are peeling and stained. The AC was not cool during my stay in the superior room. They sent a technician and fixed it twice, but it was still not cool enough. Only on my last night was I shifted to another available room where the AC was working well. The only thing that makes this stay memorable is the friendly staff.

It's great to stay here, almost always when I go to Surabaya I always stay here, so I don't get tired when I get out of Gubeng station..

Had a great 3 nights at Sahid. Secure Wi-Fi, good hot water, free room upgrade, smart TV, good breakfast, hairdryer and iron available, good room service, and a welcome drink. Close to culinary spots, malls, the Submarine Monument, and Gubeng Station. It was a blast!

The staff are friendly and smiling, the rooms are clean even though the hotel is old. The food is varied, with many choices, including snacks, cakes, chicken porridge, green bean porridge, fruit salad, custard pudding, soto, lontong balap, and main dishes such as white rice, fried rice, fried noodles, vegetables that change every day, chicken dishes, wedangan (wedangan) and fried foods too. The taste is also quite good. I got a cheap room with breakfast at the right price, thank God. I deliberately took 2 nights because I wanted to rest together with my husband, even though I also live in Surabaya. Thank you Sahid Hotel 🙏

The hotel staff was very helpful & Alhamdulillah 🤲🏻 upgraded to a room on the 9th floor without additional costs. Very very worth it with the price of 200k including BF for 2 pax + the hotel is very strategic, walking distance from/to Gubeng Station.

It seems not well maintained anymore, maybe because it is an old hotel, especially the bed smells and the bathroom too.

The hotel staff is friendly, but the deposit system is a bit outdated. Guests might forget to check out when rushing to catch a train or plane. This isn't automatic; the front desk handles it.

Comfortable, price is commensurate with service.

God willing, I will come back here again...
