The cable car system that leads to Mt. Usu, manufactured by switzerland, is newly introduced. Mt. Usu has a history of 4 eruptions in the 20th century. There are 2 observatories on the mountain. Although there is a distance from the highest peak of 729 meters, but you can experience the beautiful scenery within six minutes on the cable car ride. From the cable car, you can enjoy the stunning views of Mt. Yotei, Mt. Usu and Lake Toya at the same time!
