Tour Itinerary
•
09:20-10:00 Depart from your hotel in Kota Kinabalu and proceed to Mari Mari Cultural Village, located at Inanam area. (Journey takes up to 30 – 45-minute drive).
•
10:00-11:30 Upon arrival, a guide will greet and brief you of the village rules, while taking you to walk over a suspension bridge to enter the village.
•
11:30-12:00 Enter the performance hall for the Cultural Dances. Afterwards, you will be led to the dining hall where you can enjoy lavish meal prepared by our local chef.
•
12:00-13:00 Lunch is served.
•
13:00-16:00 Bid farewell to the villagers and head to the southwestern part of Sabah. The journey will take approximately 2 hours 30 minutes, and you will be accompanied by breathtaking scenery along the coastal bay. Upon arrival, coffee and tea will be served with cakes made by the locals.
•
16:00-18:00 Board the comfortable boat and get a chance to spot wildlife along the riverbank. This journey takes 1 hour 45 minute.
•
18:00-21:30 Buffet dinner will be served among the glittering lanterns that light up the area. After dinner, catch a glimpse of fireflies slowly lighting up and decorating the mangrove trees (if weather permits).

21:30-22:00 Estimated time of arriving in Kota Kinabalu. End of tour.

About Mari Mari Cultural Village + Klias River Proboscis Monkey Wetland Tour
Come aboard on this unique adventure where you can cruise down the Klias River and spot the proboscis monkeys in their natural habitat. The view is stunning, you have to get your camera ready. You will also get a chance to visit Mari Mari Cultural Village and learn about the culture of five different tribes. Here, you can get a closer look at traditional arts such as starting a fire from bamboo, making a blowpipe and a tattoo. In addition, you can also taste different traditional dishes while enjoying a cultural performance.
