The Mist tells the story of Vietnamese farmers as they tend the rice fields, husk the rice, and join religious rituals. Their daily lives are portrayed through traditional music and symbolic dance movements, including ballet, neoclassic, and contemporary. Performers are dressed in traditional working clothes and make use of rural props for an authentic experience. The show takes place at the 120-year-old Saigon Opera House, the city's cultural and architectural icon.
