Named after the Lieutenant-General of New South Wales in 1825-1831, Ralph Darling, this area is one of the city’s biggest dining, shopping and entertainment center. Used to be a part of the Sydney trading port, this destination was restored to a pedestrian area in the late 1980s. Today, visitors can stroll along Darling Harbour and find numerous attractions, including Tumbalong Park, SEA LIFE Sydney Aquarium, and WILD LIFE Sydney Zoo.
