Taiwan is best if you plan your visit any time between February to April and October to December. Those two periods are very common for vacationers to visit this incredible country. If you are looking to visit during non-peak seasons, you can either visit in August or September or anytime from November to January. The period you should be avoiding is from May to November due to the cyclone season during that period.
The main airport in Taiwan is Taiwan Taoyuan International Airport, and flying from Malaysia to Taiwan will take around four to six hours of travel time. Various airlines provide direct flights to Taiwan, such as Batik Air, Malaysia Airlines, Air Asia X, Starlux, China Airlines and EVA Air. The average price for a one-way route is around MYR 500 per pax; however, the price can drop to as low as MYR 400 during promotional seasons.
The first day is usually the most tiring because of all the travel you have to go through. After four to six hours of flying time, the best activity you should do is unwind so that you can recharge for the next four days you will spend in Taiwan.
Trust us; you will need to get charged up to be able to explore the depth of Taiwan and embrace the wonderful experience it delivers.
Today is the day for exploration! Taiwan is home to a lot of historical and beautiful places where you will put your adrenaline in hyper-drive. Below are some recommended places - popular places in Taiwan that no one should miss:
Taiwan is known to be a country with some of the best food in Southeast Asia. Its authenticity to the local tongue can bring out the gastronomical experience of the beholder.
The reason this is a dedicated one-day experience to food-hopping is to avoid any sensitive stomach issues that could be prolonged until your flight date. Nothing is worse than having a bad tummy or food poisoning on the day of an average of five hours of flight time. At least, on Day #3, there is still time to do some damage control.
It is one day before saying goodbye to the wonderful country of Taiwan, and it will not be complete without sharing your experiences with the locals. There is a saying that the best way to experience a country is to talk with the locals. We recommend some private tours with the locals you can take advantage of before you bid your farewell to this beautiful nation.
