The Ultimate Bali Beach Club Guide for 2026

Ask anyone who's been to Bali and "beach club" will probably come up before "temple" or "rice terrace." A beach club in Bali isn't just a spot to swim, it's daybeds by the pool, cocktails as the sun goes down, and DJ sets that carry on well after dark.

Whether you're chasing an all-day party in Canggu or a quiet sunset lounge in Uluwatu, Bali has a beach club scene to match almost any mood. The tricky part is knowing which one actually fits what you're after, since prices, entry rules, and vibes vary hugely from club to club.

This guide rounds up eight of the best beach clubs in Bali for 2026, with current opening hours, entrance fees, and a few tips so you don't end up paying a minimum spend you weren't expecting. We've also thrown in some solid hotel picks nearby, so your beach club day can turn into a proper Bali stay.

List of Beach Club Bali

Here are eight of the best beach clubs across Seminyak, Canggu, and Uluwatu, each with a distinct personality.

1. Potato Head Beach Club, Seminyak

Opening Hours: Daily, 10:00 AM – 12:00 AM (until 2:00 AM on weekends) Admission: free, although a cover charge applies during peak sunset hours and can be redeemed for food and drinks.

Famous for its eco-conscious, amphitheatre-style architecture built from thousands of reclaimed wooden window frames, Potato Head is as much an art installation as a beach club.

The infinity pool overlooking Petitenget Beach is the main draw, alongside daily DJ sets and a genuinely excellent food and drinks menu. It gets busy fast, so arrive early if you want a spot without booking ahead.

2. KU DE TA, Seminyak

Opening Hours: Daily, 10:00 AM – 2:00 AM Admission: Free entry; minimum spend applies for prime seating

Widely credited as the original Bali beach club, KU DE TA set the template everyone else has been copying since. It's more restaurant-bar than pool club, with front-row views over Seminyak Beach that make it perfect for long lazy lunches drifting into sunset cocktails.

If you only have time for one "classic" Bali beach club experience, this is the safe bet.

3. FINNS Beach Club, Canggu

Opening Hours: Daily, from 11:00 AM Admission: Free entry; minimum spend from IDR 2,500,000 applies for premium/party bed seating

FINNS is the go-to for anyone chasing a proper pool party — think daybeds, a swim-up bar, and international DJs playing well into the night. It's adults-only, so don't expect a family-friendly scene here. Bookings include towels and bottle service if you go for the premium beds, and it's genuinely one of the most comprehensive beach club setups on the island.

4. La Brisa, Canggu

Opening Hours: Daily, 10:00 AM – 11:00 PM Admission: Free entry (prices for food/drinks range roughly IDR 150,000–1,200,000)

Built from recycled wood with a rustic, bohemian feel, La Brisa is the antidote to Canggu's flashier clubs. The vibe leans relaxed and beachy, with chilled house and acoustic music rather than pounding DJ sets, making it popular with digital nomads and couples wanting to unwind. The açaí bowls here have a bit of a cult following, so it's a solid brunch spot too.

5. Sundays Beach Club, Ungasan

Opening Hours: Daily, 7:30 AM – 9:00 PM Admission: Around IDR 800,000 per adult; children 5–11 half price, under 5 free

Tucked at the bottom of a cliff and reached via an inclinator, Sundays feel more like a private cove than a typical beach club. Expect turquoise water, white sand, snorkelling, kayaking, and sunset bonfires.

It's genuinely family-friendly, which is rare among Bali's beach clubs, and a good pick if you want the beach club aesthetic without the club-night noise. Book a VIP Bungalow or Beach House if you're travelling in a group.

6. Karma Beach, Ungasan

Opening Hours: Daily, 7:30 AM – 10:00 PM Admission: Walk-in Daily Beach Pass fee applies; free for children under 5; VIP experiences require booking

Hidden beneath dramatic cliffs, Karma Beach is one of Bali's more exclusive private beach destinations, favouring barefoot luxury over party energy. Loungers, oceanfront dining, and a genuinely secluded feel make it a favourite for couples wanting a quieter alternative to Canggu's bigger clubs. Book ahead, especially on weekends, as space is limited.

7. Single Fin, Uluwatu

Opening Hours: Daily, 8:00 AM – 10:00 PM Admission: Free entry

Perched on the cliffs above Suluban Beach with an unbeatable view over Uluwatu's famous surf break, Single Fin is less "beach club" and more legendary surfer hangout, though it's earned its place on any Bali beach club list.

Expect cold beers, live music, and an infinity pool overlooking the waves, with Sunday Sessions being the stuff of local legend. Go for sunset if you want to watch surfers ride the break while the sky turns orange.

8. Mari Beach Club, Batu Belig (Seminyak/Canggu border)

Opening Hours: Daily, 10:00 AM – 9:00 PM Admission: Around IDR 100,000 walk-in entry

Sitting right on the edge between Seminyak and Canggu, Mari Beach Club is an easy add-on wherever you're based. The design is clean and understated, and while big events do happen here, most days it's a relaxed spot for a few drinks and a swim without needing to commit to a whole day out. Handy if you want beach club vibes without straying too far from your hotel.

Flight from Malaysia to Bali

Direct flights from Kuala Lumpur (KUL) to Bali's Ngurah Rai International Airport (DPS) take around 2 hours 55 minutes to 3 hours 20 minutes, with AirAsia and Batik Air Malaysia operating direct routes, plus Malaysia Airlines on some schedules. There are around 96 weekly departures on this route, so flights run frequently.

Getting from the airport to Seminyak: Ngurah Rai Airport sits close to Kuta, and Seminyak is roughly 30 minutes away by road, while Canggu takes anywhere from 45 minutes to an hour depending on traffic. A private transfer or standard taxi to Seminyak costs around IDR 200,000–250,000 per car, and it's worth using the official taxi counter's set fare rather than touts outside arrivals.

For Canggu, the extra distance of about 17 km can push the trip closer to an hour in heavier traffic, so it's worth pre-booking a driver if you're arriving on a late flight and just want to get straight to bed (or the nearest beach club, depending on your priorities).

Good to know: Ride-hailing apps like Grab and Gojek work in Bali but have pickup restrictions at the airport itself, so many travellers either use the airport taxi counter or arrange a private transfer in advance through their hotel or a platform like Traveloka.

Best Hotels in Bali

Here are four places to stay near Seminyak and Canggu's beach club strip, all bookable through Traveloka Malaysia.

1. Alila Seminyak

Alila Seminyak is a beachfront icon right on Seminyak Beach, with four infinity pools, direct sand access, and a genuinely excellent Japanese-Nikkei restaurant. 2. The Seminyak Beach Resort and Spa

Great for guests who want the buzz nearby without staying in the middle of it. Expect rates from around RM 1,016–RM 5,639 per night.

3. Hotel Indigo Bali Seminyak Beach, an IHG Hotel

Hotel Indigo Bali Seminyak Beach is a stylish hotel with an infinity pool that's particularly lovely at sunset, and an easy walking distance to both Seminyak and Canggu's beach club circuit. A dependable pick if you want boutique styling without the top-tier price tag. Rates usually run from RM 847–RM 5,619 per night.

4. The Salila Beach Resort Seminyak Bali

Located near Batu Belig, just a short stroll from the beach and around 5 minutes from Mari Beach Club, The Salila Beach Resort Seminyak Bali offers spacious rooms and a big, clean pool at a fair price.
