Marina Bay Sands Infinity Pool

The rooftop infinity pool at Marina Bay Sands is one of the most photographed swimming pools in the world — a 150-metre-long pool on the 57th floor of the tower with an edge that appears to drop directly into the Singapore skyline. The reality is as spectacular as the photographs, but access is tightly restricted and the rules are strictly enforced. Here is everything you need to know about getting in, what to expect when you are there, and the most affordable ways to experience it.

The Marina Bay Sands Infinity Pool: Key Facts

Location: 57th floor of Marina Bay Sands hotel, Singapore
Length: 150 metres (the pool itself, not including the cantilevered section)
Depth: 1.2 metres in the adult pool; 0.5 metres in the children's section
Views: 360-degree Singapore skyline including the CBD, Sentosa, Marina Bay, and the Botanic Gardens
Pool areas: Separate adult, family, and children's sections

Who Can Access the Marina Bay Sands Infinity Pool?

Access to the infinity pool is exclusively for registered hotel guests. This is strictly enforced — no exceptions. To swim in the pool, you must book a room at Marina Bay Sands itself. Room rates start from approximately AUD 993 per night depending on season and availability, which is a significant investment — but includes unlimited access to the SkyPark (the entire rooftop level including the pool) for all registered guests during your stay.

Hotel guests access the pool by presenting their room key at the SkyPark entry. Pool hours for guests run from 6:00 AM to midnight daily. Early morning (before 8 AM) is consistently the quietest time — the pool is almost empty and the light is exceptional for photography.

Ways Non-Hotel Guests Can Experience Marina Bay Sands

SkyPark Observation Deck

Non-guests can access the SkyPark Observation Deck — which provides views of the pool and the skyline from the 57th floor — at a ticket price of approximately AUD 38 to AUD 39. The observation deck is on the same level as the pool but in a separate fenced area that prevents pool access. You can photograph the pool and enjoy the panoramic views, but you cannot swim.

Ce La Vi Club Lounge

Ce La Vi, the bar and restaurant at the top of Marina Bay Sands, occasionally offers pool access as part of Wednesday ladies' events or Thursday all-access events, though these arrangements change and should be verified in advance. Access through Ce La Vi typically involves a minimum spend at the venue rather than a separate pool entry fee.

Virgin Active Rooftop Yoga Class

Virgin Active operates yoga sessions on the SkyPark deck accessible to non-hotel guests. Sessions run Thursday to Sunday at 7:00 AM and cost approximately AUD 30 SGD — a yoga class with a genuinely extraordinary backdrop and one of the more unusual fitness experiences available in Singapore. These sessions do not include pool swimming access but do allow you on the rooftop level.

What Else Is at the SkyPark?

The SkyPark level also gives access to views of the ArtScience Museum directly below (the lotus-flower-shaped building on the waterfront), the Helix Bridge pedestrian crossing, and on the other side, the nightly Spectra light and laser show that plays over Marina Bay. The SkyPark rooftop garden and the 57th-floor perspective on Singapore's extraordinary skyline is compelling regardless of whether you can access the pool itself.
