Had a fabulous stay at the Monarc.Very clean, nice decor, great breakfast, friendly staff. Great roof bar. It was perfectly placed in the centre of town - bars and restaurants no more than 5 min walk away. The price worked for us. It was one of the nicest boutique hotels we have visited in Eastern Europe and we have been to many.

A small well-presented modern hotel close to the centre of town with friendly and helpful staff. It also has a very pleasant roof bar which is open to the public. It is however on the intersection of two very busy streets so there is a lot of traffic noise if you want to open a window.

Great location for Tirana , staff was excellent and helpful

From even before I arrived at the hotel the staff on the front desk were very helpful with arranging transfer to and from the airport. The hotel is in a great location in Tirana and it was possible to walk most places. My room was beautiful and comfortable. The shower was hot. Breakfast every morning was delicious and the kitchen and restaurant staff were very friendly and accommodating. I also enjoyed visiting the rooftop bar which had a great view of the city. My only problem was that I am a light sleeper. I was glad I brought some ear plugs as the sound of the city traffic continued throughout most of the night, and the 0430 am call to prayer from the mosque across the road was also very loud. I feel the hotel should provide earplugs in the rooms to guests as standard. But I really enjoyed my stay at MonarC hotel and would very happily stay here again.

Lovely small hotel, handy for all attractions and for centre. 20-30 mins transfer from airport - booked via hotel for 20 euros. Lovely helpful and friendly staff, decent breakfast as well. Was very impressed and loved Tirana which as a great city break for a few days.

This hotel is in a perfect location. Nearly all of Tirana is in walkable distance from this central hotel. The staff are lovely and eager to please. The rooftop bar is a perfect place to unwind in the evening either before or after heading out into the city. The rooms are clean and comfy. My only 3 complaints were that 1. It is situated on a cross road of 2 main roads and so it is very noisy throughout the night. The windows did nothing to reduce the noise. Not the hotel's fault, but just be prepared for traffic noise. Then 2. We booked a superior double room that had a hot-tub type bath, this did not work. But that's minor. Finally, 3. They do have a restaurant at the hotel that does a wonderful breakfast, but never seemed open at the times it said it was open for lunch or dinner. The few times we were at the hotel at these times and went to look, the lights were off and no-one was there. We could be wrong but that is how it appeared. Otherwise, fantastic hotel! Would recommend and would more than happily stay there again.

Hotel was in a perfect location within walking distance to restaurants and tourist attractions. Staff was very friendly and helpful with any questions we had. The buffet style breakfast with eggs made to order was an excellent option both mornings of our stay. Overall experience was great. Would highly recommend this hotel.

The breakfast was very good and the hotel staff were polite and can speak English.... Very nice property and hotel. I will stay there again...

Beds were too soft and too too low!

It is a very nice and small hotel in centrum. Nice and friendly personal. The traffic around the hotel is intensiv. The big mosque is close to the hotel so you hear the call to prayer very loud.
