Clean rooms and nice staff

The Hotel is an old building and while the room we had reflects that it was comfortable and clean We grabbed dinner there as well and both the meal and drinks were enjoyable and reasonably priced. It was only a short walk to the centre of Moss Vale and there is a good range of shops and restaurants/cafes.

Friday The noise from the bar made it hard to sleep, though totally understandable. Saturday a completely different story. Quiet. Bed was hard. Shower was lovely

The staff were really nice and made up feel very welcome. We were a bit disappointed about the room because it looked quite rundown. The mirror on the wall had a big crack right across it, the kettle for making a cup of tea or coffee, which they had in the room for us to use, was filthy inside, and even after trying to clean it for ages, I couldn't get all the dirt off it, which isn't the end of the world, but the cleanliness of the room was what let it down. The toilet and shower area particularly was dirty. There were hooks attached to the back of the door of our room, which we were meant to hang our clothes on. We had brought our clothes on coat hangers so that was not a problem, but space was very limited when only 5 hooks were on the door but only 3 could hold the hangers as two hooks were broken. We had dinner there the first night and the food was good and the service was fine. The Bar was good and they had a band playing for part of the night and they were entertaining. There were some shops nearby which we enjoyed looking in. That's about it. Friendly staff but the room let the place down. They need to make sure the cleaners are doing a much better job than they are doing at the moment!

Rooms were clean and in good condition generally, staff very friendly and helpful, fairly loud on a Friday night but that comes with the venue.

I liked it! It was a taste of Aussie country life close to the city. It is a no frills country pub. The sheets were clean and my feet didn't stick to the carpet. The room has hosted 100 years of drinkers, so it has been repaired a few times but for a country pub room, that's normal. It was quiet after 10 p.m. on a friday, even with the live band finishing up downstairs. The beer is cold and the bistro does pub meals. Sitting on the veranda at 3 on a Friday watching traffic, it feels like being at any other pub in Australia... A taste of home.

Everything was discusting. The pictures shown on the add are not representative of the accommodation. I really don't understand the 7,4 rate because it's dirty everywhere, the carpet in the room as well is dirty and there's bugs and dead white worms. People are smoking in the corridors and all the smoke enters from the slack door frame (there's about 1.5 inche between the carpet and the end of the door. I suffered the whole night and I had crisis because of the air quality. Moreover, the neighbourgs are not respectfull and slam the doors all over the nght so everytime I finally felt asleep, I get awaked bad screaming people and slaming doors. I really do not recommand this place, choose a hostel and you'll enjoy a better experience, because the shared toilets and showers are dicusting. This accommodation does not reflect the website's quality hotels. I was fooled with the pictures and the 7,4 rate.

can't complain at that price.staff are nice and welcome. Room is clean. just have to share toilet and bathroom with the others. there is no sound proof.

Good basic accommodation. Bar and food are good. Wouldn't recommend it if you're trying to impress a new girlfriend, but great for a boys weekend.

The bed was too big for the room, there were no tissues and no mirror.
