I don’t like the steamer iron. Prefer the good old fashioned flat iron. Was no English Breakfast Tea bags. But staff then provided them. Could not find the digital channels on our tv. Only Foxtel.

What can I say about this 5 stars hotel? You get what you pay for. Nothing bad at all! The location is right in CBD. The staffs are excellent. Toto bar and breakfast is excellent and reasonable price for breakfast. It’s so delicious foods.

I have stayed at the Duxton before a few years ago. I love the revamps. The rooms are super spacious. Everything was clean and fresh. Breakfast was great just one thing the tea was cold, but we were a bit late 15 minutes before closing. The lovely waitress quickly replaced it with a fresh one. Would highly recommend this hotel, we will be back. Thankyou Yours Sincerely Christine Lunt.

Overall this is an almost perfect property let down by one aspect. The hotel is great. The rooms are great. The staff were great. The location is great. My only issue is that the room doors are not damped, so you can hear people’s doors slamming and slamming and slamming all night long.

The location was easy walking to Elizabeth Quay and the two Malls. Metro bus stops just 10 metres down the road. Staff were all so helpful and welcoming from the time we arrived to when we left. The cocktail bar was lovely to drop in to after being out and exploring. Once again the staff were so lovely. Definitely would stay here again and recommend to everyone.

Overall the experience wasn’t great. The worst past was we received as they called it vouchers for breakfast. It had written $37 dollars on it. Voucher mean deduction of the overall price. We went to check out and they said no it means we paid $37 dollars a head. We never would have went and terribly expensive. We won’t be going back ever.

First impression we are a hard working family and felt really judged when we walked in the door. Reception was friendly but when we got to the room it was underwhelming I booked for 4 people we didn’t have enough towels. My partner went downstairs to get more towels and his room key stopped working. He went to the front desk and interrogated him about him staying in the hotel. Room had a strange smell when we walk in it. Over priced for what we got. Will not be returning
