Knightsbridge Apartments

No parking, low water pressure and not as clean as it should br

The hosts are lovely, but the property is in dire need of a revamp. The bathroom was so small it is difficult to even get in the shower. The shower height was at my chin and my husband’s chest! The carpets are possibly still there from 1940! Whilst the room was clean and smelled like bleach on arrival the cups and items in the cupboards were so filthy I wasn’t even game to wash and then use! No notification that the only way to the the top floor was stairs! And quite narrow and steep ones at that! The area has no cafes or anywhere reasonable to eat (other than a couple of great evening restaurants - Indian and Italian). We walked for an hour on a Saturday morning and couldn’t find one cafe that was open for breakfast! The one that we eventually found was expensive, the items were all wrapped in bread or pastry and there was limited choice. Will definitely just go back to staying in the city proper next time!

Fantastic location , exceptionally helpful staff. The apartment needs refurbishment.

Bed hard as a rock. Hotel not suitable for us after a medical procedure, ok for a short stay but city centre quite close and we chose to move and stay there for not much more money.

Knightsbridge Apartments are great if you are looking for a friendly, comfortable (but not luxury) place to stay in East Melbourne. I loved my stay here, and will return in the future!

Very convenient walk to train station, restos and my place of business meeting.

It is a basic property, no lift, dated rooms, but it is in the best location for the MCG, a quiet street, great local cafes and wine shops, and is priced really well. So close to tram and train. We have stayed here twice and will definitely stay again. The owners are lovely.

Very functional and comfortable

Quiet place to stay. Friendly staff

The reception is great, very friendly and helpful. The apartments are very dated (80-90s design) but if you don't mind a no-frills place to stay at a quiet neighborhood, outskirts of city and at affordable prices. Soundproofing is not great, I had really loud and inconsiderate neighbours who were speaking loudly for prolonged period of time across rooms and slamming the doors as they leave.

Cheap and cheerful place. Front desk staff very helpful and friendly. This is an old run-down building so don't expect anything fancy. It is cheap though and well located to East Melbourne.

Convenient location to the city, Rod Laver Arena, parks & dining. Reception was very friendly, helpful & responsive. Very affordable, no frills, clean place to stay.

The staff were lovely and the rooms were cheap. There was no elevator and everything looked old and in desperate need of fixing up. The bath/shower was frankly dangerous to get in and out of.
