Great stay, host was super friendly with thoughtful touches such a starter breakfast, even dropping off food for the animals upon hearing how much we loved the feeding sessions (not normally part of the stay). Would return.

The stay was perfect for our family. The kids loved the morning feeds and the sand pits. The cottages were well equipped and the electric blankets were a welcome surprise for the cool spring nights.

We absolutely loved our stay at Margaret River Hideaway and farm stay! Our kids loved all the animals and loved getting up in the morning for feeding time. The houses were very clean, gated yard so we could bring our two dogs. Kim was so friendly and welcoming. It was a breath of fresh air! Highly recommend and we can’t wait to visit again.

The studio we stayed in was neat and clean. Pots and pans, cutlery, wash basin, stove and even bbq pit were clean and tidy which makes us feels at home especially we when we have to cook for the children. Condiments were sufficiently provided. All were good except that it will be good if tissues boxes were provided too. John was very nice to allow some feeding for the kids even when it was not their feeding day as stated. Overall very recommended for the stay!

We had the 3 bedroom chalet. The rooms are not heated. The kitchen area has an air-conditioning unit and the living area has a wood fire which you have to build and tend to the fire. We went during winter and I had some trouble getting the fire to keep going so the living area was relatively cold. Taking a shower was a pretty cold affair because once you stepped out of the shower, the cold air hits you. Not ideal for families with young children. There is no bathtub so you would have to carry your child and shower, which is somewhat dangerous, coupled with the cold air, made for a challenging experience. The animal feeding was fun, although there weren’t that many animals - mainly 4 alpacas, 1 kangaroo, 3 cows, a few sheep, some chicken and ducks. We liked that the animals would roam freely right in front of the chalets, so we could see them as we were having our meals.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay!! A lovely property, the cottage was perfect, 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom. Perfect outdoor area, fenced off for the little ones. The animal feeding mornings were great, our little Grandson had an absolute ball, feeding the chickens, Alpacas, goat, emu’s & cows. Wonderful farm stay for us all. The welcome gift, a very nice bottle of wine, and lovely to have supplies for the first morning’s breakfast. Just perfect! The manager’s Kim & Tony were very friendly & helpful, right throughout our 4 night stay!

My friend and I stayed in a studio and it was perfect for us. The studio was clean and spacious with a new kitchen and big oven! The location is fab, it’s about a 5 min drive to Margaret River town centre and there is a pub a few minutes down the road which had pizza specials on a Friday night. Margaret River Hideaway also does animal feeding in the mornings which was a nice experience for young and older. Kim the manager on site is really lovely and helpful.

I loved the free roaming friendly animals, cottages well spaced apart, fire set up and ready to go for you. Cottages were in a great condition, large and spacious suited us two couples and a toddler. Safe, minimalist, toddler friendly. Pet friendly as well, with a gated outdoor space and hard floors. Welcoming starter breakfast of cereal, milk, OJ and all the basic cooking things you need. Location is perfect close to town if you want, just off the highway and beach is close enough if you wish.
