Moon River Motor Inn

This hotel has a magnificent location, with direct access to the riverside, which offers astonishing views of the Maclay river and the opposite bank. It is close to shops, and the main town centre. It is an older style property, but has a great, family vibe.

Dated. Expensive for the quality. Not very hospitable.

Stains on carpet, missing vertigal blind blade, curtains that dont block out front porch light, restaurant advertised clearly not operating

Clean and modern, so for this price point the standard was exceptional. It felt safe and the staff were helpful and friendly. The restaurant is quality also!

Great stay option

A quiet location (even though it is next to a main road and near a Service Station), but it is a bit too far to walk to the shopping centre. It has a pleasant view of the river with several picnic tables (with easy access from a back door of the most units). The Chinese Restaurant had a good selection of food and an average selection of drinks (licensed).

The location along the river is beautiful. The Chinese restaurant the food and service is excellent. The room is basic & clean. No shampoo & conditioner The pool was green ,though area had a lot of rainfall . Only minimal coffee, I had to ask for 2 more sachets. No wine glasses which would have been nice only small vegimite glasses . Location is good .

Bed comfortable, no microwave or plates but a toaster. Carpet worn and torn, needs repair. Shower handle fell off but shower was hot. Very basic and not to cost standsrd

Beds comfy pillows need to be more fluffy

This is a very run down property and at $220 a night we suggest you look elsewhere

Well priced, convenient and clean motel as a stopover. On site restaurant was very good too.

The owner was very nice. We checkin quite late (7:30pm) and the restaurant was still open on boxing day. Once we are in the room, the hair dryer didn't work and the owner was able to give us another dryer at 10:15pm. The room condition is clean and was in good condition. 5 of us stay in the 2 bedrooms studio, plenty of towels and they even gave us 2 bathroom mats, 5 face washers. I have not been to motels that provide face washer towels. The river is stunning and we enjoyed our 1 night stopover stay very much.
