Moroccan View Tower

Great location. Central to Surfers Paradise. Clean and comfortable.

We were disappointed to be checked into the Elkhorn Tower when the listing is advertised as the View Tower. There is a significant quality difference between these two towers, and this discrepancy wasn't in our favour. We also think advertising the property as a family unit is misleading, this property would be more suited to younger travellers, even more so now with the added noise and view of Cali Beach. The mattress was comfortable, however too big for the bed frame. One of the couches is very old offering no support. No water jug. Main toilet runs while system fills. Shower over bath in ensuite had no door. Cali Beach has opened next door, be prepared for constant music if staying Fridays to Sundays. Very large LCD screens that just ran day and night. Stained and mismatching crockery. The carpet felt very worn. Overall the unit felt very well used and well overdue for some TLC. Positives included fans and lights operated by remote control, air conditioning in master bedroom, large TV in lounge room with Netflix, good carpark close to the elevator, good communication from host with late checkout, the blockout curtains, the location and the facilities of The Moroccan.

Communication regarding room was great and requests were granted where possible. Would have liked the internal access control panels to work to let people up to the room. Was a bit frustrating with kids but would definitely stay there again.

The property was in a good location, close enough to centre of Surfers but far enough from all the chaos. Apartment was beachside and the tram was next at the other end and Coles 1 block away.

Loved everything about it - great facilities and such a relaxing place! I’ll definitely be back 😊
