Beautiful old guest house, oozing character and charm.
Room was in great condition with a classy, renovated, clean bathroom.

Lovely renovated room although the tv did not have a remote control.
Bed was very comfortable and we had had 2 peaceful nights of sleep. My only suggestion would be to have a full length mirror in the room or out in the hallway of common area. As we were attending a wedding it would have been convenient to have a full length mirror to assist us. I would stay here again without a question.

Badly needs renovating. Rooms outdated. Hallway carpets stained and need recarpeting.
Receptionist very friendly but rest of staff unfriendly and look like they wish you were not there.
Staff need training. Unprofessional in dining room.
Our doona cover had blood stain.
Location good on the golf course.

The Dormie house is a beautiful historic building on the edge of a nice golf course. You will want to get a refurbished room. If you rely on hotel wifi during stay, be aware that, even though they offer wifi, it is so bad as to be non existent.

When we arrived the room we were meant to be checking into was dirty when we opened the door. It had not been cleaned from previous people staying. The staff were friendly and accommodated us with some drinks whilst waiting for it to be cleaned. No air-conditioning on hottest day in March, we asked for a fan but that didn't work. Bed uncomfortable and in need of upgrading. Generally i guess a cheap stay but you get what you pay for.

Was tidy and well kept. No wifi in room which was annoying as it advertised free wifi. When people come in and out of rooms the doors are very loud. Also would have be good to have some welcome info in the room. Overall. Great stay

Lovely old school English hotel that is slowly being updated and will be amazing when completed as it is full of charm. Great country service from lovely staff. Surrounds are beautiful and the hotel is close to town. Excellent golf course!
