Great stay! There is a train running behind the hostel so it can be pretty loud, otherwise a nice place in a convenient location

Excellent location, and great price-service relation. The kitchen is outstanding and well provided, the bathrooms are always kept in great conditions. The rooms are reasonable in space, a little too hot on summer nights, and each bed has its own curtain and plug light for privacy and comfort. The staff is super friendly.

The staff were easily the best thing about this location, I think facilities could use some mild updating.

Close to Southern Cross station so the location is perfect for me to get Skybus in the early morning.

Definitely value for money but is not for anyone that’s looking for more than just a space to sleep. Oh, breakfast is rather disappointing, just cereal, milk, coffee & tea. I reckon you save $14 and get a warm sausage roll and coffee instead with that money.

The YHA is at the budget end of the spectrum but they seem to have slipped, the prices have gone up but the facilities are not a spotless as they used to be.

A nice location close to everything at a good budget price.

Often stay here bc of central location, economy but this time there were no towels in room, chip scraps on the floor beside bed, no spare blankets and i was cold. Not a big deal and i will continue staying here but the housekeeping needs to be better. Reception easy, expedient & friendly.

I had my own bathroom this time and the shower was heaven!

Dorm bed for 4 . The room is small, a person stayed there kept coughing and sneezing the whole night . She took the rubbish bin next to her bed and the bin is full of tissue paper . There is no health safety control screening or measure in the dorm . ppl just spread their virus . Terrified !

There is good and bad about this place from my experience. Overall it was pretty solid for the price. The beds were decent. The personal heater in the room and the window were appreciated. I also really liked the coffeehouse vibe they had going on downstairs. However, there were not nearly enough plugs in the room and the plugs that were available were not personal ones for each bed, so there were 4 of us rotating the plug use. It's not the worst thing, but it was a bit annoying. Also, the kitchen and fridges were always messy and the restroom never looked or smelled that great. The area around my bed also wasn't cleaned prior to my arrival. Additionally, I knew the location when I booked my stay, so I was expecting the typical CBD noise, however, what I wasn't expecting was all of the random noise that came from the building itself... there was lots of door slamming throughout the day and several days of early morning (6-7am) vacuuming(?).
