St Christopher's Vienna - Hostel

Walkable to tourist spots and train station.

Clean room, great breakfast, friendly and helpful staff.

Absolutely great, 2 minute walk to train; I felt slightly scetchy walking home at night but nothing too bad.

Okay for one night. Soap dispensers are not hygienic. Room was very hot and I was only on the second floor.

My stay was very good with the hostel. It was nice staying in a very clean room and very well spacious and quiet. Met great people with good minds. The reception team were superb,shout out to the Canadian receptionist that I spoke to.

Ok with quiet policy but what if a policy for windows! A person just open the window at large but it was fricking cold! Even if I was closing it the person still reopened it! Hope hostel will look for it in order to keep customers comfortable.

Great activities in the evening. Able to meet new people. Good location, not to far from vienna HBF station and 40 minute walk to all the main sites

値段が安いことを考えると良かったです。ドミトリー形式の部屋でしたが、ベッドのプライバシーはカーテンによって守られ、荷物入れにも鍵をかけることができました。ベッドはきれいでした。スタッフもフレンドリーでスムーズなチェックイン、チェックアウトができました。 あまりよくなかった点は、部屋が狭めなので周りに気を遣いました。あと、シャワールームから部屋まで水が出てきているのをみて、使うのを諦めました。普通に使っている人もいたので、たまたまだったのかもしれません。立地もそこそこ便利でしたが、周辺は若干治安が悪そうな雰囲気がありました。あと、15時以前にチェックインができず、荷物を預けるには有料のロッカーを使用する必要がありました。

The staff here are incredibly friendly and helpful. There's a very active night life within the hostel itself. The room was mostly clean and was spacious, though the lockers and storage seemed quite sporadic. There is an elevator. The toilet and shower are in separate ensuite rooms and there are privacy curtains on the bed pods. The mattress is very solid (which some people like and others don't). The hostel is close to the train station but a 30min+ walk away from the outer edges of the city center. Overall, a good place to stay on a budget.

The place itself was great and very close to central station and a metro. The area around wasn’t the best from a distance.

Great stay. Room was clean, area felt very safe. We walked from the train station in about 8min. Bit of a walk to restaurants and any of the sites in Vienna, but that was okay! The downstairs bar was nice to enjoy a drink at.

I strongly advise against staying at this hostel, as the system is built on pumping money out of customers!Be prepared to be asked to pay for other services, which are mostly free in other hostels! Although it was already 5 minutes past 2, administrator officially stated that "check-in is only from 3". When I wanted to leave my bags he stated that this is ONLY for a fee (2 euros / hour)! Despite the fact that I was checked in, the administrator remained cold, refused to help with my luggage to carry the bags to the room, and despite this, literally 5 minutes later he went into the SAME room he checked me into to check the electronic lock (although I entered this room normally)! In the room itself, under the beds, there are boxes made of iron mesh for storing things, which cannot guarantee the safety of things. They ask 5 euros for renting a lock (in other hostels this price is much lower). Be prepared that there is no kitchen and a refrigerator for storing food (there is only an electric kettle, a small electric stove in the hall), since this does not bring in any income!But there is a bar where the music thunders past midnight!Be prepared that you may not be allowed to eat your food at the tables in the room next to the bar! The guy with a beard very rudely throw me out of this room when I didn't even finish eating, took my thermos and my personal cup WITHOUt my permission and threw me out into the hall when there was a large noisy company that had not yet gone to bed!
