The staff in the restaurant were very nice and helpful! Best ones I’ve seen in a while. The receptionists however, could’ve been nicer as they are the face of the hotel. The location is really good and close by to Sportpaleis which is why we visited Antwerp. It could’ve been cleaner as there were still other guests hairs on the bathroom floor. Also I did not see any ‘vending machine’, perhaps I missed it. Overall it was good, just some minor issues.

Hotel was quickly selected for a one night stop. It did the job. Room needs attention as it felt very basic. White scuffed walls, bedding white, felt like a dorm. One twin bed you could feel the springs and was very uncomfortable. Beside the highway with road noise, earplugs fixed that. Accessible to highway with free parking.

The hotel is shabby and in need of major refurbishment
The reception staff were welcoming snd very helpful.
We arrived at 21:30 but the restaurent was closed despite being advertised on the web as open until 22:00
Reception very helpfully ordered us brought in pizza
We bought drinks waited in the bar for our pizza (all beer pumps were marked “defekt” !)
But when the pizzas arrived the barman told us we could not eat third party food in the bar even though they had closed the restaurant early and despite we had travelled 9 hours and had not eaten dinner. So very bad service attitude.
I cannot recommend this hotel and will not book any Tulip hotel in future.

Hotel rooms are in a desperate need of a refurbishment. Rooms look run down, the corridor could do with a new carpet and fresh paint. They have spent the money on refurbishing downstairs left upstairs looking worn out. The prices are too high for what you receive, one or 2 nights is ok, I wouldn’t stay more than this. Location wise wasn’t ideal for us we had to use Ubers.

The first room , stank terribly of sewage. The replacement room thankfully did not smell. The carpets in the corridors had stains everywhere and were very dirty. There was a black Friday deal, so I was able to book the room very cheaply but from Tulip Inn you expect something better.

Was supposed to have double bed, got twin beds. Quilt soiled (wont let me show picture). Towels fraiyed. TV only couple of English channels. Corridor carpet dirty, paint on it. One side of room doors paint peeling of, other side a bit better. Place needs total make over. Did not venture into restaurant or bar
