This hotel has much better pictures than it actually is. Check in. The front desk informed me that may reservation was not in his list and the hotel was full. After I opened my PC and showed the Reservation Number suddenly a room was available.  This Room is nothing to brag about the rugs are old and stained. The bathroom has a bad odor. And there is no heating system.  The covers are heavy and yet the bed is comfortable. Noise level is loud but manageable with the appropriate ear plugs. Breakfast was Poor. Wifi Once connected with a code for each device was OK. MUST concerning is the safety of this place. Any one from the street has access to the elevator Via P1, The Front Desk in on P2 there is a person there but no one at P1. In addition, the doors of each room in the hotel are closet doors with a knob and key. Anyone can easily kick a door open. NOT A COFORTABLE FEELING. The Icing on this cake was when I finally reached home noticed that my spare cash was missing. I called the hotel and also wrote an e-mail. The answer to me that no money was left behind and their staff has been with them over 10 years. Personally I will never stay in this hotel.

The hotel is fine. It is in a good location. It does have a restaurant, but as the other review mentioned, the hours seem to focus on lunchtime. The beds were comfortable enough, and they did keep the place clean. It did get cold at night and there was no heat. The condition of the hotel is not what you would call 'new'. Most staff were friendly and nobody was too unfriendly. The breakfast was pretty good, but it would be nice if they expanded the hours to 6:00am for us early birds! They did not play any tricks with the price, which was very nice. The price quoted by hotels.com was exactly what we paid. I really liked not being surprised at checkout.

We arrived on a Sunday. The hotel claimed to have a restaurant and there was a menu in the room. When we tried to order food we were told that the restaurant was closed on a Sunday. But the menu contained no operation times. I was not well and couldn’t go out to eat, plux by this time it was dark, our first night in the city and the area was quite grim. It took considerable persuasion on my partner's behalf to get the hotel to find us a restaurant that could deliver food. When it comes it was twice the price of the stated cost of the hotel food. In the end we got some food, however or was the attitude of the hotel that really disappointed us. The apology was thin and no attempt was made to compensate us for the extra cost we incurred which is why I'm saying don't stay here. The photos also greatly exaggerate the attractiveness of the hotel it is very 1970s but not in a good way.

Location of this hotel was great. Two entrances/exists one to the Main Street El Prado, one to a secondary street. You have everything at your disposal just a walk from hotel. Room was rather small, but if you are just looking for an ok place to sleep, you found it. Staff very cordial. I used karaoke bar. They have regular room and VIP. Laundry is a little expensive They charge you by piece. I had about 20 including underwear and they charged me $15 Overall, stay was good.

The room and hotel is run down. Expect rips, stains and just dirty surfaces everywhere. We went on an overnight tour during our stay and had to leave some luggage. They charge per bag! Even though we were coming back and it was one night. Every other hotel I have stayed with does this as part of their customer service. When we came back we arrived before check-in and even though our room was ready they charged us half the nightly rate to enter early. They didn't let us know we had free breakfast until the last day. Overall I just felt like they provided as little as possible and charged for everything they could. Would have been better to stay in a hostel. Not worth the extra money.

Stayed 4 nights overall during Carnaval week. Well located with an entrance onto La Paz's main street. Decor is a bit dated but clean enough. Sufficient hot water. Most staff were friendly and helpful and spoke good English. Breakfast adequate (good coffee!). Felt really safe and secure enough to walk around at night as the area was really well lit.
