DoubleTree by Hilton Porto Alegre

I was at the hotel in March and again in September, and both check-in processes was extremely slow and I travel all the time. The hotel is connected to a mall, which is convenient for picking up things that you need on the road and the room service include was very good. Just be sure to prepare an advance to leave some time for a check in and check out so you’re not late for appointments.

The hotel was modern and very clean. The front desk staff and the concierge were amazing, they were very friendly and responsive. The location is excellent, you have shopping right next to the hotel and there's another mall almost across the street. The view from the room was great, I had a great view of Guaiba Lake. We paid for valet parking and it was worth it, never a problem. Just park in front of the hotel and turn in your keys. I highly recommend The DoubleTree Hotel in Porto Alegre. I will be staying there the next time I visit Porto Alegre,

O quarto é bastante confortável, o staff simpático. O cookie de boas vindas é delicioso. Mas, houve tentativa de cobrança a maior daquilo que constava na reserva. A entrada é caótica, junto com o shopping, tivemos dificuldade de entrar no elevador. As amenities do banheiro estavam vazias.

Modern and well-maintained facilities ensure a comfortable stay, reflecting thoughtful design. Service with a Smile (Mostly): The staff are undeniably friendly and welcoming, a real asset to the hotel. However, I did encounter a few moments where detailed information felt a bit hazy, leaving me wishing for more confident and clear communication. Breakfast: Good, Not Great: The breakfast spread is certainly adequate, featuring fresh ingredients and a decent variety. But, it lacked that "wow" factor. Verdict: A solid choice overall. The prime location and quality amenities make this a worthwhile stay. With just a few tweaks to service clarity and breakfast offerings, this hotel could easily go from good to exceptional.

Great beds and rooms. Buffet breakfast was amazing. Super convenient to grocery stores and the marathon (which is why we stayed there) and handy for buses downtown. Pool was outstanding with ocean view. Good value!

Cleaned

The loacation is amazing! Nice hotel and the bed was very comfortable. That said, they definately have room for improvement. Breakfast area was very disorganized and the employees appreared very overwhelmed. And the layout of our room was much different than the photos online and did not make sense. The TV block our amazing view of the river, which was very disappointing.

O hotel é muito bem localizado, quarto limpo com camas confortáveis e com vista belíssima, café da manhã muito bom. O atendimento geral é muito bom também O ponto crítico é o banheiro, que além não tem portas, tem um rasgo na parede que acaba com toda a privacidade que um ser humano merece ter. A ausência de ducha higiênica também é um ponto negativo

Minha experiência neste hotel foi muito boa. Desde a recepção, fui atendida com cordialidade e atenção, o que já transmitiu uma ótima primeira impressão. O quarto estava limpo, organizado e confortável, garantindo noite de sono tranquila. A vista e o pôr do sol são espetaculares. Recomendo!

Infelizmente o hotel estava sem água, o que prejudicou demais nossa programação. Um hotel desse patamar, cobrando 1300 reais na diária não pode cometer uma falha grave como essa.
