I came to Campinas for a conference at UNICAMP and after the campus accommodations filled up, Hotel Pousada Flat da Logoa was definitely the best next option. It was walking distance to the UNICAMP campus as well as a nearby botanical garden and park. Flavio, the house manager, is great. He was so helpful and they keep the rooms super clean--daily. I stayed in the queen bed and single bed room and while it could use a pant job, it certainly served its purpose. The refrigerator was a plus and the kitchen was accessible all day (with Flavio's help). The wifi in Flat da Lagoa was even better than the wifi on campus. Campinas is like a small college town but has some nice restaurants that are within 20 minutes of the Pousada. The staff is also helpful in making arrangements to get to the airport or the bus station. Also, there is free breakfast in the mornings: ham, cheeses, fresh made bread, fruit, juice, tea, coffee. Two thumbs up!!

2 dias de estadia. Não dei sorte de não ter agua no 20 dia devido a lotação do hotel (depois ligaram a bomba d'água e normalizou). Quarto muito próximo a recepção, não recomendo para quem quer silêncio.

Na hora em que cheguei ninguém me ajudou com as malas. O hotel não é seguro, há um portão que fica aberto durante toda a noite, sem opção de trava. Não há recepção durante a noite, logo, os hóspedes ficam sozinhos no hotel. As mobílias são antigas e precisei trocar de quarto pois o ar condicionado do primeiro quarto não funcionava. Já no segundo quarto haviam frestas na instalação do ar o que permitia a entrada de luz solar.

Foi muito desagradável. Não havia informação no site nem na reserva sobre hora de check-in. Chegamos às 12h, mas o quarto só estaria disponível às 14h. Não há banheiro para hóspedes, a não ser nos quartos. O quarto era mínimo, as duas camas de solteiro ficavam coladas, pois não havia espaço. Não há comércio próximo à pousada; na recepção, folders de "disk-comida" de qualidade sofrível; teto do banheiro cheio de mofo; pessoal da recepção despreparado, desinformado e desinteressado. As fotos e o texto do site não correspondem à realidade. A única vantagem foi a proximidade ao campus da Unicamp (10 min a pé). Nunca mais, nem de graça...
