Discusting place and unfriendly area

The location is excelent, closed to the Teatro Amazonas with lots of restaurants and bars nearby.

This place is awful. DO NOT DO IT, THERE IS NOT A JUSTIFIABLE REASON ON EARTH TO STAY HERE. The location is fine I guess, but one would almost rather be outside suffering in the heat than return to this rundown and poor excuse for lodging. I am quite tolerant of bad quality, but this goes beyond the mark. I knew not to have my expectations to high when I saw the price, but, I am just insulted by what I found here. The bathtub, in the photos, is so disgusting and deteriorating that the bottom of it bent and wobbled as if it were about to give out in the bottom. I will be quite surprised if it doesn't collapse in the next few weeks. The mattress, filthy and falling apart, was made with only one not-fitted sheet. So, not only do you have no covers, but when you wake up, you have found yourself bathing in the horror of the brown-stained exploding foam mattress. When we went to call the front to ask for a new sheet, the phone doesn't work. When we go downstairs to speak with the front desk, completely useless. I am not the type of tourist to travel and expect everyone to speak my language, be it English, Spanish, or Dutch, however; I work in tourism and it is just common sense that in a hotel in the centre of an international tourist destination that the hotel staff speak enough of one of the major languages spoken in the same hemisphere, at least the words for common things in the hotel. In the city. Good location for stores. Older building. Front desk area smells nice. Room had toilet flushing issue and was changed promptly to another room. Our son enjoyed the roof too pool a lot. Breakfast was good.

There was only two channels on the tv but the food was good, a lot of options vegetarian and vegan. Also it was pretty big and the pool looked nice. The breakfast had reasonable times. The were ok but overall this was a great hotel. The location was awesome grocery stores and the theatre was right beside us. Uber pickup was easy and fast. It would be best if you came with someone or even two people, because the room has a lot of space. Totally recommend!!

I arrived at the hotel at 2:30 AM. Staff were friendly and efficient. I stayed only one night and my room was fine. My bed comfortable and the bathroom clean.

Great place to stay.

The room needs a lot of maintenance. Shower knob fell off. Bathroom door knob fell off. Matress was badly worn. Hall lights did not always work.

Good location is about the best thing I can say. Room was dirty. Pool was empty. Restaurant was never open. Was staying after a 6 day Amazon River camping expedition and left the hotel with more bites on my legs and ankles than being in the actual rainforest.

Good location and that is about it. The best days of this hotel are gone. Only one elevator working. Rooftop restaurant closed. No English spoken. Breakfast barely acceptable.

Absolutely nothing, worst room for that price and it is a shame as location is good. Will not recommend this hotel with Indian management.

Grimy. Room door didn't lock. No towels, sheets barely clung to grimy stiff matresses. Air contiditioner was pitiful. There is a restaurant, but people working there were suprised we would eat there. Food was okay. Overall kind of a dump. Stay elsewhere.

Very convenient place for shopping, dining and close to many historic place

Room unsecured, took 2 hrs before i got a proper room the whole hotel is run down, only one of four elevators working, did not stay my third night, Found another hotel. This is not a hotel I would recommend to anyone.

The breakfast lacked variety and the elevator didnt work well and was slow. The hotel was dirty and dark.

Walking distance to the Center. Clean and quiet rooms but would need some maintenance. Pool on the hotel roof. Great breakfast buffet. Would recommend it.

The reception was very friendly and good. The quality of the bathrooms could've been better. For the price it is a very good deal. Would recommend it.

Dingy, dirty, and scary looking.The outside and lobby look nice, then you enter the elevator, doors open and you are amidst hallways in complete dark! They have motion lights with some working and others not, sometimes an entire hallway in stark darkness!But that was not even the worst...worst was room had no air conditioning (broken), then told they had no other room w air to accommodate #of guests unless my child slept on a mattress on the floor! Yet it gets even worst...we opened the bed and full of hairs! I called them immediately to the room to witness it and get clean linens...didn't get an apology, instead they argued it was nothing.Eventually got new linens...with spots! Had to cover bed with my robe and sleep on it instead of on linens, disgusting.At breakfast no napkins in sight, asked, were told hotel was out. Had to use a tissue from purse.
