We loved staying here! The staff are so friendly and really do make you feel at home. The rooms are modern, clean and large. The breakfasts are great and the pool area is nice and relaxing. G&Z Urban is close to sites around town and a 5 minute walk to Pub Street. Highly recommend.

The staff and facilities at G&Z are really very good indeed. My stay was pleasant, comfortable and the staff were friendly, professional and efficient. All the staff were great but I would like to point out one young gentleman who, despite being profoundly deaf, was always helpful and professional. I’m not being patronising (I hope) but his disability was not obvious but some guests should realise that he used hand signals very effectively and raising your voice in English or Spanish is not going to make a difference! Much respect to G&Z for employing a good man. The food and drink was excellent and I would thoroughly recommend a stay in this hotel.

This is a nice hotel, but I’m not sure if my room is finished! The bathroom is half tiled and half finished with PVA washed plaster. I’m not sure if it’s supposed to be basic Bauhaus or they wanted to open before completion. There is a flat screen TV in my room which cannot be tuned in so I see no reason why it should be there. Don’t get me wrong, it’s a nice hotel, excellent staff, clean, comfortable and convenient. The breakfast is good and excellent facilities overall, but please, just apply that final 10% and it would be excellent!

Great location by the river, and only a few minutes walk to the main attractions. The hotel was in good condition, though the grey walls and floor made it appear rather drab. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Inclusive breakfast was a high standard, and cooked for you. Overall, an enjoyable stay.

Small well appointed hotel with good (lunch/breakfast) restaurant. Helpful friendly staff. Swimming pool small but nicer than pictures on the web. 5 minute walk to the old town bars and markets area. 2 minute walk to Hard Rock Cafe, the (trendy) Temple cafe, and the Jungle Bar.

The only two good things about this hotel was it's location and spacious room. Breakfast was very poor. Toilet and shower were filthy and the room itself would do with some more cleaning (spider web in the corners, stained curtains, sticky and dirty fridge). When we booked the room we were offered 20% off food and bevareges and free one way airport transfer. No one told us that discount doesn't apply to mini bar and we only found out about this during the check out. Lastly free one way airport transfer it's only a pick up from the airport. We managed to get to the hotel on our own but when we asked to be dropped off to the airport we were inform that hotel is not able to provide that free of charge as they only do pick up. Once again good to know in advance. Despite having email confirmation about terms and conditions of the reservation they wouldn't accept that and made us pay.

We booked this hotel after all the "good" review, however it started with very upsetting airport pick-up situation -- we waited (wasted) for one hour waiting for the driver at the airport while he didn't show up; we took a taxi to the hotel and got confusing reply (no reply at all), and we figured out the driver didn't even go as we saw the pick-up paper (with my name on) was at the reception desk. Staff speak very poor English. Except the service, room is not bad.

The hotel was initially a little hard to find as its going through a name change. However, the location is fantastic (near the old market) and there are several restaurants within walking distance. The staff were very nice and helpful although some had very limited English. There is no elevator but they will help you with your luggage. The breakfast was delicious. The in-room massage and facial was fantastic! The pool was small but very nice! It’s a fantastic value and I would highly recommend this lovely boutique hotel!

Loved this place! Minutes walk to Pub Street and the Night Market so there was lots to do. Mr. Sey was our tuktuk driver and he was the sweetest, most accommodating guy. The hotel helped organize our sunrise tour of Angkor Wat ($21 USD) and transportation to and from the airport.
