Chez Rose Belaïd

Our host was very helpful and polite, the room was very nice and clean, bed was quite comfortable, all we needed for a one night stay!

Clean and comfortable. Very affordable and very well located (although has no direct view of rocher percé due to hotel across the street blocking the view). Open during off season which is great. However, no EV charger. No staff on site (although you can text to contact one). We were on the ground floor and we could hear the only other adult guests upstairs walking and closing their door. If we were there at a busier time of year with most rooms booked it might get a bit noisy I suppose.

Great stay. Loved this place. The rooms are large and very well kept. The location is superb and close to everything. Nicole is lovely and very helpful. Would stay here again.

Sweat Box! We were there during the recent heat wave. Upon arrival, we found that there was no air conditioner in the room. We texted the owner and he inquired if the window was open. The window was open as much as it could. There is a storm window which hinges at the top that opens approx 5" which effectively blocked any potential breeze ). One of the staff brought over a fan. This did little but push around hot air. First night the lowest the temperature got was 26C. Second night lowest temperature was 29C. After two sleepless nights on the third day, miraculously, we were asked if we would like to have a portable AC unit installed in our room!!! It's surprising that the new owner wouldn't rush to his new property to make sure of the confort of his guests and install an ac unit. When you look around the property and see the neglect (i.e. grass not cut; shrubs not trim; etc) its not surprising. We do not recommend staying at Chez Rose Belaïd!

No curtains on the windows only white shades. The entire room is white including the shades. Curtains would soften the look. Otherwise a lovely room with a nice view of the ocean.

We didn’t see any staff as we checked in with a code. Any electronic communications from the owner were clear and easy to follow
