Gibsons Garden Hotel

Loved the garden and the pool and hot tub were nice. Nice comfy room.

Absolutely wonderful. My wife and I stayed in room 202 which was perfect as it has a lovely sitting area next to the Koy pond and tiny creek in the amazing garden courtyard. The pool and gym were very clean and inviting. Right from stepping in the lobby doorway we knew we had made the right choice. The staff we met were very helpful and friendly. We definitely recommend you stay here. You won’t be disappointed.

When they say 3 people can stay in one room they mean that 3 people all sleep in a king bed, I have stayed at many hotels and never heard of that before

Staff were the best! We were treated as though we were the only ones staying here, although we could see that they were working hard to please all!

Convenient and comfortable.

Overall very good except noise from refrigerator.

The hotel was clean and convenient for our stay. We were able to walk to our venue.

The room view could have been better

Second time staying here. Easy drive from the ferry. Located in upper Gibsons and stores and food nearby. Great staff and clean, comfortable rooms. Would stay again for sure.

All things considered, good value , comfortable and convenient location

We always choose a suite, to have the feel of home, while it has the basics all the utensils and extras were obviously bought a good will, super small cups and very large spoons drove me crazy. And the noise from the upper floor was constant, floors creeping, toilets flushing etc. not comfortable for an extended stay, and for the money we have stayed in much nicer for the same or less. Basically disappointed and wo t be back.

It’s ok

Hotel overall seemed a bit dated but it was clean, and the pool and hot tub were nice. The property was lovely and we were serenated by the croaking of frogs to fall asleep to.

Very spacious, so clean and good ambiance

Absolutely lovely hotel, with a beautiful garden. The staff were friendly, welcoming and helpful. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the pool was wonderfully warm. We'll definitely be back.

Upgraded to a larger suite but found it wasn’t worth it. Hotel is showing it’s age. My balcony had a hose on it with god knows what coming out of it. Overall my stay wasn’t terrible but nothing great.

We booked the large "family room" which was large and well appointed. It was however double the price of a regular room, so a little offensive when they charged extra for our son (three of us in total in the room). The room itself was clean upon arrival, but after the first night clean towels were provided but the room was not cleaned. It would have been nice to have clean glassware provided and the beds made up. There were decent pubs and restaurants within walking distance and front desk staff were helpful.

Booked this as a two night family getaway with two kids under 10. We enjoyed the pool and hot tub at the hotel. We also explored the local beaches and an easy walk through Cliff Gilker Park.

Very tidy, big room. Accommodated an early check in which was very nice. Pretty basic but clean and large . Bed was hard so both of us had sore backs in the morning but I that’s a preference. Others probably would not notice.

There was only lukewarm water in the shower and there was a fair bit of noise from the lobby and stairs throughout the night.
