Very close to Whistler tourist areas and was easily walkable to shopping and great restaurants. The pool was unavailable due to construction which we weren't made aware of until we checked in. Heating is available but only windows and standing fan provided. We had a slight issue with the room passcode but were able to resolve it after a few minutes with their call centre.

I had a mixed experience at Glacier Lodge Hotel. While the room was adequate, the stay was significantly impacted by constant construction noise. There was active work happening directly outside my window from early in the morning, and the sound was so loud it was impossible to ignore. What was most frustrating was that I was never notified about the construction prior to my arrival. A simple heads-up would have been appreciated, as it would have allowed me to make a more informed decision about my stay. Unfortunately, the noise made it difficult to get any rest.

The suite was cute and a good layout, towels were very clean, linens were crisp and fresh. Furniture was nice too. But with no AC and only 4 small windows with no air flow and no screens it was very very hot and stuffy. They did bring us two more fans which made it bearable but not comfortable. Also, the dishwasher was broken so that was difficult. The whole place could use a refresh. I would t recommend for a summer stay but in winter it would probably be very cozy.

Check in and out was a breeze with the pleasant and helpful front desk staff. The underground parking was convenient as was the free and secure ski storage at the rental shop just off the lobby. Easy to pick-up the skis for the short walk to the gondola. Everything was clean with lots of conveniently placed sanitizers. They also have self opening doors to and from the garage which makes it convenient when you're loaded down with gear. Felt very safe during our stay. I took off a few points for the fact that we couldn't get the room's phone or DVD player to work, and the room door wouldn't lock when we wanted to go out for dinner. I managed to fix the door lock myself but not until 20 min. after going to the front desk and eventually being told that service calls aren't possible during covid if you're already in the room. They graciously offered to upgrade us to another room but I'd fixed the door by that point. Lesson learned: During covid, do a quick check that everything works before you move in. Minor problems aside, we recommend them as we enjoyed our stay at Glacier Lodge and would gladly do so again.

Overall the hotel staff was friendly and helpful, the room and general areas were kept clean. One downside during our trip was the pool, we went during August, when there was still active social distancing regulations and you had to reserve a time to use it. However when we went during our assigned time, there was a lot of people and big groups which was stressful, me and my boyfriend ended up leaving early because it was too packed. The hotel should have stricter regulations for the pool use during this pandemic.

The best thing about this place is the location. At the blackcomb base, close to the blackcomb gondola. The main village is about a 10 minute walk. The room decor defintely left something to be desired. And there was definitely mold over the shower. Parking is 20 dollars per day in their secure garage, that would have been nice to note in the description.

Pictures are misleading of the hotel. They are showing you a queen-sized bed, two queen beds. After you pay your confirmation says sofa bed. Enjoy your sofa bed at 350 per night. The one thing needed in a hotel a good bed and it fails. These are like air B N B style hotel guest services have no idea what you booked cant help you at all. Cant even upgrade your room if you want that's not an option at this place. Not even a comfy sofa bed hundreds of ppl have slept on it it is caving in the middle by 5 inches.
