Hope Inn and Suites

Best hotel for the price found in Hope. Receptionist was friendly and accommodating, rooms (while outdated) are clean, and the bed and pillows were super comfortable.

Had to ask to borrow hairdryer and still they didnt bring it as promised. Found 3 sizes plates 7 feet off the ground in cupboard the middle plate was filthy, only a steak knife for utensils, luckily restaurant next door had chopsticks. Bed was on wood frame too high up for my 4' 10 body. Mattress was quite comfortable. The Fridge inside door and shelves were filthy and to top it all off the microwave and coffee pot needed cleaning. I can see why it got only two stars. I didn't trust the 2 star review as it may have been old. I was wrong. And no food at all only a korean restaurant next door and that was delicious at least. The walls all need painting they were brown before and it was nauseating to see large long streaks of brown around my bed it looked like, you know .. and the outside really needs painting i noticed as I'm dragging my suitcase up the stairs I see so much chipped paint all peeling off the railings, stairs and landing. If I read this review I would doubt its truth but it is all true. The staff though were very friendly. I did tell the worker when I checked out all these things. I have pics of all I say but no where to post here. Luckily I was only visiting there for a funeral so only 2 nights. I feel bad writing this as I know times are hard but renting a hotel is a business and it should be fairly inviting.

Rooms we’re comfortable it was clean. They were just a little cold.

Great place well maintained, owners really take pride in their business. Only place i will stay when in Hope, BC. Stayed a three other Motels in hope and this one is the best one.

Room was clean and staff was very friendly. Would suggest a bigger garbage and recycle bin in room with kitchen.

My regular place to stay in Hope BC. Good price usually have rooms available. Friendly staff. Clean rooms. Enough parking for a truck. Good experience overall.

I only stayed for two hours as the room was not clean. I drove through the night to reach my destination (Edmonton) instead. The light switches (white) and phone (cream) were encrusted with grime. Then I wondered if all the other surfaces which were wood or laminate were dirty too. I saw a long hair in the bathtub and was totally grossed out. I just felt uncomfortable. I have stayed at the Robin Hood Inn & Suites in Victoria which is a similar set-up but was totally clean every time.

For the price it was a good room to stay in.

This is the most disgusting, filthy hotel I’ve ever seen in my 52 years. I have pictures and videos. If you need to see them, these people should be reported to the Better Business Bureau.

bathroom was not clean

We stopped here en route to the Okanagan just to have somewhere safe and warm to sleep so I wouldnt have to drive at night. We checked in around 10:30pm and the host was in pajamas which is fine but seems a bit unprofessional, she was very nice though. The room was quite cold and really did not smell good. It was also quite noisy, sounded like someone was doing construction work well after 11pm, hard to say if that was outside or in the actual hotel. At the end of the day the bed was clean and we got some sleep, but I think next time I'd pay a bit more for a different place.
