This is our second stay at this family owned and run motel. Comfortable bed and good-size room. Good facilities. They not only have a better size fridge than a mini fridge that most hotels have, as well as a microwave, but they provide plates and cutlery. Their sign says it all, " You are not just a guest, you are our guest". That states their attitude. Recommended. We will likely stay there again. It is situated across from a main rail line crossing, but the windows and door mute the sound. It is a small town, and the train sound is heard throughout the town, fyi.

Beautiful lake, gas station is close by, parking is big and plentiful, the train that comes by can get irritating but I slept well in nice clean sheets, in a clean room, with complementary shampoo and soap with hot water! The breakfast is light, but buttered toast, cereal, juice and milk is greatly appreciated! Staff is very kind, understanding, and accommodating even for my late arrival! Overall a great experience for the cost. Would go here again for a good pit stop!

The property was clean. Not sure if they are welcoming to pets as we had none. Other than the one attendant that wouldn’t move us from a room with a broken shower everyone else was pleasant. We could hear music in our room through the night , it deprived us of some much needed rest. Our shower was not working, neither was there a drain plug for the tub or sink. We didn’t have lake view as we were facing the train station.

Lights are blaring into your room at night, train passes by every 5 seconds, late to open the breakfast area, stained mattress

The room and water had a smell, pillows too hard and there were many house flies.

The property is old, but the facility is very functional, with each room has its own fridge and microwave.The staffs are friendly and hard working. I will stay here next time.

The place was filthy and unfriendly. After booking for 3 they only set 2 sleeping places and didn't leave any bedding for the third person. We had to ask for more bedding and set the disgusting dirty couch ourselves. Our room was dirty it had hairs and dust everywhere. In the morning breakfast area was closed and no one was there.

I booked 9 months via Expedia before my vacation. When I arrived, the clerk could not find my reservation. After 10minutes, she contacted the offsite Manager via her cellphone, and gave me her cell to which I was told by the Manager that my reservation was no longer valid as the motel has had a change of ownership, that they are full occupancy and cannot help me. At my every turn in conversation, the manager kept telling me that they cannot accommodate me due to a change of ownership since my original booking, I finally had the lightbulb appear and told them that as the new owner, you would have seen all prior bookings and you never emailed me that my reservation was cancelled. After a long pause, they said ok. Once I secured my room, I asked how did you find a room for me as you stated the motel was full, the Manager replied (remember.... via cellphone) that they hold one back for emergencies.... I thought to myself why would you put me through a 25minute check-in instead of welcoming me and just gave me that emergency room without me insisting that they need to honour my reservation. Don't stay here - old motel, no updates except for locks on door.. Front desk clerk absent as only Manager not onsite, and clerk has triple duty with being Reception, Housekeeper, and setting up each day's continental breakfast. The clerk is overworked and very polite. The offsite manager tried to turn me away and I think it's because I booked at a lower rate 9months prior with Expedia.....

Property was older but staff was will to accomodate request when possible

Kiran, the housekeeping employee has done a wonderful job in making us feel welcome and at home.

The room was not as clean as I expected, there were urine stains behind the toilet and food left in the fridge
