Summit Lodge Boutique Hotel

Room was lovely, I had a king room with kitchenette and pull out couch, very spacious. My room and hotel overall had modern and tasteful decor. Staff were very helpful and friendly, explaining parking and access so I had no questions. Great location just off the main village with quiet parks nearby to sit. Only down side was the pool and spa were closed due to renovations so some noise during the day, seems it will be completed soon, likely in time for the summer season. Will definitely stay here again.

Great location for everything including dogs. Park right beside it. Great restaurants close by. We parked our car and didn’t move it for two days.

We chose this hotel because it was advertised as pet friendly, and we were told in advance that pets should not be left alone for long periods, with a local dog sitter service recommended for longer outings. As this was our babymoon getaway, we wanted to make sure everything went smoothly and followed the hotel’s guidance carefully by arranging the hotel-recommended dog sitter so our dog was supervised the entire time we were out. Despite this, we later received complaints about barking when guests walked past the room, and only after that were we sent a much stricter pet registration form that had not been clearly communicated during booking or check-in. When reviewing the hotel website, I could not find the same wording or level of detail in their published pet policy. The timing made it feel more like a warning than a supportive, solution-focused approach, especially since we had already arranged the hotel-recommended dog sitter and were actively trying to be responsible pet guests. To be fair, the hotel later clarified that the barking occurred mainly when guests walked past the door and noted that “these things happen.” However, the experience left us feeling quite stressed and overly cautious for the rest of our stay, especially given the high-traffic location near the elevator. The hotel itself is lovely, but it may not be the most relaxed option for dog owners, particularly for dogs sensitive to hallway activity.

What a great setup in a great position with a fantastic room. Staff extremely welcoming and helpful. The attached Lorette Brasserie served some beautiful food, even though on the high price side. Underground Carpark a little squeezy.

Perfect location, clean and spacious rooms, great staff, and an all-around wonderful experience.

The hotel is very well maintained.. clean rooms and comfy bed. We enjoyed the location for it being quieter. Pool and hot tub are nice however small. Underground parking is nice aswell however does not accommodate large vehicles. We really enjoyed the front desk staff and appreciated a hand written welcome card and bottle of wine. We will stay here again.

We didn't have a view. Outdoor pool hot tub jets didn't work. My granddaughter of 18mths picked up a dirty bandaid in our room not impressed. The front staff were very friendly but double charged a night for myself and my daughter's room. They were very confused and took some time to figure out their mistake. I am sure there has been other guests with the same surname! Sorting it out was annoying and time consuming.

Had a fantastic stay at Summit Lodge Boutique Hotel. Such a great little boutique hotel in an excellent location, close to everything but still cozy and relaxing. The staff were genuinely amazing and made the whole experience even better. The hotel is incredibly well maintained, very comfortable, and had everything we needed for a great getaway. We’ll definitely be back.
