The Durocher Apartments

The apartment was just fine, but definitely a little run down. The studio we were in did not match the pictures advertised. Overall, everything was fine just not the best.

The WI-FI was bad, didn't have Wi-FI at all for 1.5 days and as such could not do work. There is no heating control, had to go to store to buy heater to heat the room. Could not make the TV work.

The apartment was falsely advertised as big from the pictures. The room was small. The bathtub was molded. The vent in the bathroom was filthy; dust hangs from the vent. Book case falling down from the wall. The kitchen was not stock with cups or utensils. About 6 knives were attach on a magnet by the refrigerator. There was nothing we can use in the kitchen for cooking. The oven is also filthy. The air conditioner was just carelessly placed in the wall, one can see an opening around the air conditioner where bugs can enter in the room from the outside. The curtain is so thin, there is no privacy. We can see the moon shine in the room at night. The floor was squeaky and made a lot of noise. The toilet dripped all night; guess the flapper was loose. There was not enough blanket. The air bed did not hold air. For the price we paid, very disappointed! Thus place shouldn't have been listed as rental

The location is fantastic--very close to lots of things that visitors to Montreal want to do or see. Procedure for getting into the apartment went well.The big drawback was the lack of furniture--the only place to sit except for the bed is two stools at the kitchen bar. There is comfortable furniture on the rooftop balcony, but the only way to access it is by crawling through a window that does not open very wide. Any of course, sitting outside is not appealing is certain weather.

The property is as expected. Great location. What was surprising is that the prosperity is on the ground floor, looking directly to the garbage containers.
