Ten day stay in Santiago, before heading south. First thing is that the hotel staff are very friendly and helpful. The rooms are laid out well. There is even a fairly large well stocked grocery store located on the street level of the building. Being in the heart of El Centro district, everything from nice restaurants to government offices and unique shopping are close by. Street musicians roam the street. I always felt save, just watch where you lay down your bag (as in any big city in the world). I will be going back there on my next visit to Santiago.

Chileapart is a very convenient place for tourists. Rooms are very comfortable. Chileapart location in Santiago's center was the most important thing for me. Also there is a Supermarket downstairs.

Loved having a supermarket next door to buy all necessary items cheaply and conveniently. It's also just2 blocks from the Bellas Artes metro stop which I used for all 4 days.

It was really bad experience with the wifi connection, for me it very necessary the internet cuz I had to work over there, but it was impossible to do. I can recommend the place. It so many other similar places in Santiago center with much better service.

The apartment was ok, the facilities were minimal, i.e. 2 glasses, 2 plates etc but unfortunately the street was VERY noisy even with the doors closed. The aircon only worked in the lounge which made the bedroom quite hot during the night.

Excelente ubicación, ubicado en el centro de la ciudad a poca distancia de las principales atracciones turísticas históricas y museos de la Capital. Su personal de recepción muy amables y siempre dispuestas a ayudar en todas las peticiones y dudas. Estuvimos hospedados en dos habitaciones diferentes la 814 con vista a la calle de Merced de la cual tuvimos que pedir cambio pues esta calle de Merced es sumamente ruidosa; esta habitación también requiere mantenimiento pues esta algo maltratada y un poco sucia. Fuimos cambiados a la 819 supertranquila y sin ruido pues tiene vista interior, mucho mejor mantenida y limpia. Las habitaciones cuentan con refrigerador, cocina y aunque pequeñas son muy confortables

The hotel is located close to plenty of restaurants and places to go. You must speak the language since there is no staff there to help you with anything in English. There are people that live there that have animals and they are very noisy at very early hours.

We only stay one night as stopped over when we off the ship and on to cuzco peru.
the apartment are at a very central location only 5 minutes to plaza de Armas. Its clean and spacious for us. Only negative was it located on the mainstreet very noisy at night. Over all its a great apartment.

Overall nice room and staff. Not a traditional hotel room but still daily service. Check in was pleasant and the ladies let us check in early and leave our bags after check out. Bed was comfortable, bathroom was a bit small but adequate with a great shower! Only complaint was the portable AC unit didn't stay hooked up, hose kept falling out of the window making the room very warm upon our return. This happened daily and usually in the middle of the night! Great location! Would stay again.

The office doesn't have a sign so don't be afraid to knock on the door.
"A balcony in every room" is deceptive - our 3rd floor balcony looked over an extremely noisy indoor courtyard. People talking after 1 am and by 7am. Since it was all stone . It echoes .
Cleaning service came before we left one day and we had to get ready around them .
Very stingy with towels. Even dirty ones were not replaced. But I have noticed that in many Chilean hotels .

I rarely give bad reviews but this one I will be honest, for the sake of other guests.
The balcony door was faulty and cannot be locked. There's no Aircon. Safe deposit box was not properly reset before the next guest comes in. Poor direction from security officers at level 1. Staff couldn't understand English but she tried, which was nice. The one who could speak English was rude & extremely unhelpful. She continued to listen to music while she kept me waiting in the room for service remedy, until I had to take a lift to go to her office at level 8 to demand for immediate help. When i asked to change room, she claimed there was none left. I insisted that the balcony door be fixed or I will have to speak to the owner myself, she then finally 'found' another room. The next day I checked out immediately and paid extra to stay in another hotel, without refund of course. When I was there, apparently 3 guests came to complain that their door was wide open when they got back to their room!! Enough said.

While l am sure there may be better apartments in this big complex ,ours
207C was not good. I suspect they discovered some precious metals in floors above us cause they were mining it round the clock while we were there. What else could make the metal wheels on concrete floor noise I do not know. Around the clock? Of course earplugs are part of the gear but during the day? And what to do about vibration? Space suit of some kind?
I know we got what we payed for but wish were given choice of mineshaft or 10th floor for more

We really enjoyed the location as it was centrally located and reasonably close to everything - Plaza de Armas, Bella Vista, Barrio Lastaria, Metros, etc. The rooms are good size apartments spread out over 3 buildings with in the same apartment complex. Other agencies rent other apartments with in the same buildings. We had trouble locating the "office" because the building staff gave us directions to building B and there is no 619 in it. And in building A, there is not a ChileApart.com sign on the door of 619. While the apartment was not spotless, it was clean and roomy. There is a supermercado next door for easy grocery shopping and plenty of restaurants with in walking distance.
