Jinmao Hotel Xi'an Downtown

as an American, they were extremely accommodating to me and were happy to use translation apps to help get me the information I needed. Room was very nice and the location is great

Centrally located. You can easily walk to many areas. There are many food options nearby. The room was really comfortable, clean and spacious. The breakfast was ok. Overall nice stay.

Clean and quiet hotel in a great location. Breakfast is awesome too. Downstairs is the Zhubashi Night Market. Across the street are fruit shops, drink shops, restaurants and convenience stores. Just down the street, just a block a way, is the Xi'an Drum Tower. Behind the Drum Tower, is the Beiyuanmen Night Market (Muslim Street/Muslim District), Xi'an biggest night market. Within the meandering side streets of the Beiyuanmen Night Market is the Great Mosque of Xi'an. The Xi'an Bell Tower is about 10 minutes walk away. The Xi'an Wall is about a 20 minutes walk. It is a super convenient. The hotel breakfast is solid. There is a chef station that will custom make you dumplings, noodles and eggs. While the Western fare is pretty basic, there is a huge variety of Chinese breakfast: White and millet porridge, chow mien, yiow tiew, pickles stirfried veggies (so good), baos, tea egg, soy milk, yogurt drinks and so much more. There are a few down sides, but not enough to give it less than 5 stars. There is no bar on the roof top, but you can still visit it. It offers a breathtaking view of Xi'an's skyline; especially at night. The AC is not cold enough, but this is typical of climate control in Xi'an (even when you go to the fanciest malls). It's cooler than the outside, but not as cold as I was accustomed to in the U.S.

The hotel was very clean and staff friendly. A good sized room and bathroom. Breakfast was good with a variety of Chinese and western options. The location is excellent, a few minutes walk from both the Bell and Drum towers and the main streets. I have marked this as 4* because the details clearly advertise a roof area and bar. While this was accessible there was nothing up there except a few bar stools. There was no bar and no other seating which was a real shame.

Nice hotel. Good size room for my husband, my son and I. Breakfast was a bit basic. Good location.

Big clean room and great location. They have full size cribs for babies. We had a great stay.

We love the tour agent located on property who helped organise the excursions for us. The property is also located near a lot of food in walking distance.

Close to the subway station. In the city center walking distance to the restaurants and shopping center.

Fantastic hotel. The location was great for exploring both the Muslim Quarter and the wider city. The room was very spacious and the beds were extremely comfy. The breakfast and evening food was a real bonus but a special mention goes to Anna who was lovely and helped us each day. While we had already booked tours and trips, Anna can also book those for you if you dont want to pre-plan. Xi'an is a lovely city - much more than the terracotta warriors (although these were, of course, amazing). Highly recommended - I'd definfitelt stay here again if I'm back in the area.

Very convenient to everything but quiet and comfortable

After an exhausting day of travel, we finally checked-in at about 3am. Unfortunately, the lift broke down while we are in the lift with our luggages. The service team did rescue us after about 30 minutes. We were lucky there were staff at 3am in the morning. The hotel lift needs urgent servicing. Otherwise, the location and overall experience was good. Breakfast was very limited.

The key point is - We would definitely stay at this property again.
