The room smelled bad, moldy and had not been used for a long time, I was a bit uncomfortable about that. The rest is ok, the staff works quickly without having to wait long. If the hotel prepares in advance to make the room smell better, it will rate it higher

Loved my view. It was really beautiful. Staff were really nice, except for the check in desk. A bit rude at times. Concierge and cleaning crew were awesome, very nice people. The last night i had to call 20 times to try to get ice from room. I had to go by the elevators before they even picked up. If you are an American or foreigner especially a woman, the Chinese come first. Upon exchanging money, i was interrupted everytime someone wanted something from the hotel desk. Customer Service wasn't really the strong key here with the exception of the Concierge and cleaning staff..

The fireworks light up the place nightly as it is the Chinese New Year period. Breakfast was rather simple and not that lavish compared to other 5 stars hotel. Check out was rather messy even though there were less than 5 people but the Chinese just jumped the queue without a blink and the counter staff don't bothered at all. Managed to pass my key cards to a lady relationship staff Ms Ming and informed her about the non culture action.

Was gonna do 4 stars, but since I've been traveling to China for business the last 15 years this JW is actually excellent. The building's architecture and interiors are nice and something that always indicates attention to detail for me is daily fresh flowers everywhere. The gym is fairly equipped, and the staff are gracious and do their best to accommodate your needs. Subway is close by and the breakfast buffet is pretty good but leans to local tastes, which I like, more than Western dishes. Didn't try the Grill or Man Ho.

This is a great hotel in the business district of Zhengzhou. If you are ever traveling to Zhengzhou this will never disappoint. With over 50 stories of room with a great view of the city from their grill. It had great food for all meals.

Very nice property, with a very accommodating staff. Our family loved the breakfast buffet, and the short walk to the mall. Rooms were comfortable, and provided a wonderful view. Given the opportunity, we would definitely stay again.

Did not have non-smoking room. I had reserved one. Some event was going on and my taxi could not get close to the hotel to drop me off. I called the hotel and they told me to walk 1/2 a mile to check in. This is a J.W. Marriott. They should have sent someone to help me with my bags. Totally disappointed and will not stay here again. I expect much more from this chain. The overall service was bad and they offered me nothing to compensate for either issue.

I was recently on a trip to China and stayed at JW Marriott Hotel Zhengzhou for two nights. The hotel is located from the 38th floor and up, on a landmark "Big Corn" building (nicknamed by it shape). It was amazing experience at JW Marriott @ Zhengzhou. For a 5-star hotel like this at a cost of less than $100 per night, it was a steal!!
