Vista Naranja Ocean View House

Beautiful place to stay! Very clean, beautiful wood interiors, inviting pool, incedible view of the ocean right from your private balcony. I could go on and on. Host was friendly and responsive, helpful and courteous. Animals in trees right nearby. Property has pretty limited parking, and I’ll admit it was a bit of a challenge parallel parking at that elevation. 10/10 would stay here again. Love the quiet policy. So peaceful & rejuvenating.

What an amazing rental! We loved every minute of it. I don't know if our favorite spot was the balcony overlooking the ocean or the infinity pool! Kitchen has everything you need. Town isn't too far away and very fun nightlife! Everything was great about this rental, would highly recommend. I wish we stayed more than two nights, we needed more!

This place has the million dollar view! It's very clean and well kept. You don't need a 4x4 to get up there. You can get up to the property in a regular SUV that has decent clearance because the road is bumpy, steep and narrow. It's close to everything you'll need during your stay.

Amazing views above a long stretch of jungle canopy straight to the ocean. Saw lots of wildlife. Swimming pool is beautiful. Peaceful, private decks with each room. Nice common area with tables and view. Owner could have been friendlier. Cleaning staff were very friendly and pleasant. Highly recommended.

The view was excellent. Cleanliness was excellent. Location was near main area while far enough to avoid noise. The drive up the hill to reach the property was....interesting.

This small hotel is situated high on a cliff. It has spectacular views. The owner is very pleasant but has strict rules. For one you cannot put toilet paper in toilet or you will be charged $300 for any damages. I’ve never seen that before in all my travels. The road leading up to hotel is in terrible shape so make sure your driving a 4x4. Other than that it was lovely!!!! A free breakfast would be suggested as there is no coffee machine and place very isolated. Grazie Marco I look forward to seeing your new pool your planning to put in. Let me start with the view which was priceless and our favorite spot was the balcony. This is a a boutique hotel with few rooms. Please be aware that the route to get to the hotel in the mountain is very rough and for somebody that is not familiar with the route then going out at night is not an option specially if it is raining. We went out of season so basically we were the only ones in the hotel. The decoration is kind of old and specially my husband complained about the smell of the pillow. It was construction going on in the hotel and improvements are in there way so most likely at least food and drinks can be found in the hotel in the near future. Be aware that no TV is in the room so basically is nature and you! Bring a book and enjoy the quietness of this place.

Good, clean property with Marco as welcoming host - fabulous recommendation to see the sunset and eat at Caracalas. The view was fabulous and jungle noises added to the ambience. Only downside is the property is about a 5 min drive up a steep hill. Think this is Expedia not the owner but not a 5 minute walk realistically, which is what we hoped for.

We enjoyed our stay in Mal Pais at this beautiful location with an awesome ocean view! The room was also beautifully decorated, very clean and comfortable! The covered patio is great to relax in the morning and at sunset. The bed was comfortable and the shower is large with hot water. It is a short distance from the beach, restaurants and shops. The owner was very helpful in directing us to restaurants and the beaches. We would stay here again and recommend it!

Positive: The place has an excellent view, nice balcony, about 3 min away from the beach. Marco was very responsive and helpful. I recommend driving a 4x4 since the way up is a little bit steep and rocky. The room is quiet and secluded surrounded by nature. Negative: The shower did not work properly.

We really enjoyed this place! Clean, like new, it was one of our favorite on our trip! We arrived in the early afternoon and saw howler monkeys, parrots and toucans, the view is breathtaking every time you look at it. We loved our stay and Marco (the owner) was awesome and very helpful with anything we needed. Highly recommended!!!

The hotel is located a thousand feet high, I drive my car and I could not get, after four attempts arrives, the road is full of holes with a depth of three feet, super narrow, only a car can go up or down, super dangerous to fall. The hotel has no light on the outside, we got to the room with the light of the phones, the key did not work properly, the room super old, no TV, very ugly bathrooms, the owner of the hotel received us in pajamas, no staff, no Lobby, no reception , not seen. This House that claims to be a hotel has more or less three rooms. I did not stay to not put my children in a dangerous situation, I asked the money that page $540 and the owner refuses saying that I should have read before booking. We went to Tropical hotel that is half a mile, a hotel with pool, breakfast, in perfect condition, restaurants, TV, etc. for $80 dollars a night, hotel in this area cost between 60 to 80$ and I paid 135$ the night. Don't make the same mistake. Expedia has to remove this Hotel! as soon as possible!!

My husband and I love Vista Naranja Ocean View House! We've stayed there twice already and each visit has been absolute joy! The beds are comfortable, the rooms are clean and the view is mesmerizing! Marco is a great host and we will be returning to Vista Naranja Ocean View House whenever we visit Santa Teresa!

The view up there is fantastic. The room is very beautiful and the terrace view is epic. It is a great place to get away to peace quiet and a howler monkeys in the distance. Great owner also!
