This little boutique hotel is just beautiful. Right on the beach at Podstrana, an easy 20 minute bus ride into Split from outside the front door! Breakfast was ok, the food in the restaurant was great and the staff could not have been more helpful!

Great location on the beach. Family room had everything we needed. Buffet breakfast had good choice of food and was plentiful. Hotel is in a suburb of Split, around 20 minutes drive from the centre so most suitable for beach rather than sightseeing.

Helpful, friendly staff. Spectacular view from pool,great sauna, wonderful breakfast and clean comfortable room. Would definitely stay here again.

Hotel San Antonio is the main hotel in this group and facilities are in this hotel but a short walk away and right next to beach and bars/restaurants. Staff ok and knowledgeable, helpful when asked. Not many shops close by and centre of split is a good 20 mins taxi ride, busses are available but not used by us.

I hate to leave wrongful or bad reviews however the corridors of the block were not unclean but smelt like raw sewerage making it uncomfortable when travelling to and from our room
Also the room style was quite dated and the breakfast offering very poor standard.
Not a great deal to do round the property and no loungers were on the beach to even give choice to the client

This was a nice, clean hotel and the staff were very friendly. It was further out of Split than I realized, although the #60 Express Bus was good for getting back-and-forth and it was a good way to see the coastline and people living their lives.

Chambre d´hôtel décevante. Il y avait des fourmis dans la chambre, la première nuit nous avions de l´eau tiède, voire froide. Par contre le buffet du petit-déjeuner est très bon. Il se fait à l´hôtel qui est en face, vue sur la mer dans un cadre très agréable.

The location is absolutely fantastic. It's right on beach and the hotel has It's own cafe/restaurant on the waterfront. The staff were all helpful and friendly. Overall, we were very satisfied with our hotel stay here.

Our stay here was really nice I’d absolutely consider it again! However I think it’s better for a few days base to stay and explore the wider area rather than a resort to stay at for a week or more and not planning on journeying far. The spot is lovely! Right on the beach, but there’s not a great deal nearby in terms of bars and restaurants outside of the hotels own, a shop and a cash point and that’s it, but an Uber into split is only £8 or so and we were out on trips everyday so perfect for us! Service at checkin was great, excellent breakfast and beds made/fresh towels daily. The ONLY slight change I’d make was the old fashioned shag pile carpet in our room! Grosss... but other than that it was a really lovely place to stay! Be aware you’re in an annexe building of “Hotel San Antonio.” But it’s just fine, no need for that to put you off.

Had an enjoyable time at this hotel with my husband. The room was very clean, the staff was very friendly and helpful. Any problems were attended promptly and professionally. There are however a few things that needs changing. The room needs some maintenance(a crack in the wall and chipped madonary around the bathroom door) and the shag pile carpet needs changing to something more modern. Do these things and you'll have perfection.

Cute little hotel with its own private beach, however little disappointed that the indoor pool was close due to the season. We didn't eat in the restaurant purely because of reviews online and there is no menu. We were told by reception that the waiter would offer us food. And there is no choice. However, breakfast was fantastic and had alot of variety.

Lovely hotel, right by the beach in a small village just outside the main town of Split.
Staff are nice, helpful and accommodating. The restaurant was served lovely food and the breakfast in particular was excellent.
Some little quirks that need to be sorted out, tv wasn't working and the some of the equipment in the gym was broken, but this didn't take away from our overall enjoyment.
Split is only 20 minutes away from bus, that stops right outside the hotel.
Overall, a hotel worth going to to get away from the hustle of Split, but still be able to get there easily. Right by the beach which made for lazily days in the sun.

The treadment is big different if you walk-in can open to choice the room with seaview, while just offer G/F or 1st/F for per-booked customers. Moreover the room condition and location is much poorer than accepted or expected.

Room was advertised as having a sea/beach view. All we had was a view of another hotel (the Hotel San Antonio), which sits between the Hotel Gala and the sea. I don't see how anyone in Hotel Gala could have a sea view unless they were on the top floor and could really crane their neck.
The room was okay, but cramped with the sofa bed opened up. The hotel seemed relatively new, but not well maintained. There were big scrapes on the wall (presumably from suitcases that could not be squeezed past the end of the bed) and mould in the shower.
The one plus was the wireless connection, which worked very well in the room.
All in all I could not recommend this hotel.
