This place was a simple European type budget hotel. I was very satisfied with my room. I read several of the negative reviews to see if there was anything to be concerned about. It seems that they were writing about a different hotel, or that they are super picky. Even the free breakfast was very good.

It was a little pricey for there being a dirty towel on our bathroom floor, no soap in the bathroom and no drinking water in the room. - there was also a lack of access to free coffee and tea, which is at least something one has come to expect at similar hotels/competitors in the Odense.
That being said, the service went above and beyond. I asked for cups of tea at a very late time in the night and the staff provided with a smile and even added milk, sugar and a small chocolate.
Overall we'd like to come back, since it was a pleasant stay.

If you read the reviews of this property, you will find that the disappointed reviewers are spot on: dated property; badly stained bath tubs; poor cleaning of rooms; roaming spiders; same breakfast served every day; inattentive staff, etc. That said, if you still choose to stay here you have notice of what to expect. Despite the advance warnings, we chose to stay because of its location. Bad decision. First and last stay.

Stayed here for 6 nights pleasant hotel with a handy bus service just outside to get into and out of Odense also close to E20 motorway to Sjelland and Jylland. Room was comfortable with nice settee and table and the beds were good however the shower left something to be desired and there was no shampoo and the tap only functioned slowly. The restaurant food was only average not a lot of choice and by UK standards expensive although in mitigation breakfasts were excellent.Would we stay there again probably yes because of its position comfort and the friendly staff

Handy to the E20.
Room was spacious with separate living room area and large tv.
Nice and quiet room overlooking the garden.
Parking was on site, but filled up quickly in front of rooms.
Breakfast was good with plenty of options.

This hotel was just bought and have new owners, was under renovation and so I found the bathrooms in major need of upgrade, room was okay. Breakfast was included but disappointing compared to the other hotels we stayed at in Denmark.
