NH Copenhagen Grand Joanne

It was a stylishly presented hotel, but lacked some substance. Room could have been better sound insulated, the shower head (waterfall type) felt ‘thin’ as not enough of the rubber nozzles in the shower head were working. Didn’t feel like good value for money.

t was absolutely amazing! The hotel was beautiful, clean, and beautifully styled. I loved that there was a bar where you could get a drink any time, and in the morning we could get barista-made coffee that was really tasty. The breakfast was very good, and we also dined in for dinner, which was incredible. The staff were really polite and lovely, which made our stay even better. We will be back!

Room was perfect and the bed/bedding is one of the most comfortable we’ve ever slept in.

Conveniently located, with a five min walk to the metro, and Tivoli. Lots of restaurants nearby. Check in was super easy, the concierge was very helpful in helping me change my reservation due to a delayed flight. The property and common areas were clean and had a great aesthetic. They offer water and beverages in the lobby. The room was clean, cozy, with a chic, minimal design. The only downside is that it was a little noisy with noise coming from the room above.

Staff was amazing

The hotel was lovely with a feminine interior design. Superior room was big enough, the perfect size, though clothing storage wouldn’t have been enough for two. Very comfortable bed and pillows allowed me to catch up on much needed sleep. Only improvement would be to have brighter lighting, very difficult to do make up and bathroom spotlight wasn’t enough - perhaps mirror lights would help! Reception staff were very helpful. Breakfast efficient and staff accommodating. Good location, walkable to meatpacking district and close to station. Overall great stay, would recommend and return!

Great location and lovely service and decor

I’ve stayed at plenty of NH properties before and this might be the best one. Located next to the train station, the hotel is extremely convenient to anyone looking to navigate the city. A few minutes walk from Tivoli garden or the meatpacking district, this hotel is in the best location in the city. Additionally the staff were excellent. They were warm, welcoming and friendly. Stellar hotel.

Great location right in the middle of Copenhagen, only steps from central station. Grand Joanne has a great vibe and cozy rooms. Definitely coming back!

Great location — easy access to the central station and within walking distance of all the main historical attractions. The facilities are comfortable, the service is attentive, and the overall convenience makes it a perfect choice for both business and leisure travelers.

Great room and a good location

Lots of great dining within a few minutes walk

My husband and I stayed here for 3 nights during our trip, and while there were definitely some positives, the overall experience wasn’t quite what we were hoping for. To start with the good: the staff were all very kind and welcoming, and we appreciated being able to check in smoothly after arriving. That said, the room itself was much smaller than expected, and it felt overcrowded with furniture. The sofas, in particular, made the space feel even tighter—we actually had to move one just to be able to get in and out of the bed comfortably. Because there was no real storage for clothes, we ended up living out of our suitcases, which made the room feel cluttered and a bit stressful. The bathroom was also very compact, to the point where it was hard for one person to move around comfortably, let alone two. Housekeeping came by only once during our stay and while the beds were made, the towels in the bathroom were left on the floor, and basic items like coffee and toilet paper weren’t replenished. It felt like the service wasn’t quite as attentive as we’ve experienced elsewhere. The location was another challenge. While it’s close to the train station (convenient for travel), the immediate surroundings didn’t feel very charming—it reminded us more of a busy, nondescript street you’d find in the middle of America rather than the Copenhagen atmosphere we were excited to experience. Ou R room had everything from heated bathroom floors to shoe horn and lint brush. The front desk staff were very helpful as were the restaurant staff.

Heated bathroom floor was a wonderful suprise. Staff was very helpful. Room was cleaned daily and very clean and nice. Only TV stations in English was the BBC news but Netflix worked if you waited to the second perview screen to log in.

To any Americans- super helpful staff with navigating the city. For everyone else, it’s a block away from the city’s local metro. Truly a brilliant place that’s centrally located.
