Bahia Principe Luxury Esmeralda - All Inclusive - Newly Renovated

For the money paid i expecting alot more. Laundry service is a joke. Concierge svc takes 1 hour. Room not cleaned 3 x, had no hair conditioner on arrival, the soaps holder in the shower fell off the wall, never got fixed. Buffet tiny. No icecream for kids unless buffet is open. Attabey beach bar closed early ran out of ingredients. Coming2 airport transportation was late both times arrival and leaving. Will not return.

A big resort with lots of fun things to do. A wonderful beach and we loved the fact that there are a few pools so it wasn't too busy. There isn't enough things for teenagers the water park and kids club are mainly for very young children. Our room wasn't clean when we got it, after reaching out to reception they made sure it will be cleaned. There were other things like bed renovations- ugly renovation finishing in the washroom that just made it feel less of a 5 stars resort.

We loved everything about our stay at Esmeralda this time. The pools and the beach were clean, the food and drinks were of good quality, the room was spacious and cozy. The most remarkable part is the genuine friendliness of the staff, especially Armando at the front desk, Alexis at the wet bar, Awilda at the buffet etc. Thank you all so much for a wonderful vacation

Our recent stay at your resort had both enjoyable moments and areas that need serious improvement. Starting with the positives, we really appreciated the kids club staff—they were energetic, friendly, and constantly engaging the children in fun activities. Our kids had a great time there, especially enjoying the pool and splash sessions, which were definite highlights of the trip. However, we faced significant issues with the cleanliness and hygiene of the room. There were ants, cockroaches (even in the washroom), and lizards, which made the environment very uncomfortable. Our children were frightened and hesitant to even use the washroom, which seriously impacted our experience. The food was average overall. While there were decent options available, the menu was repetitive and lacked variety over the course of our stay. Considering the level of discomfort we experienced due to the hygiene issues, we feel a partial refund would be appropriate. We hope you take this feedback constructively and make the necessary improvements for the comfort and safety of future guests.

Very polite staff, great beach bar service, gourmet dinners. The only missing thing was no Brazilian flag at the property entrance

The room was very nice (we had a jr. suite). Large four poster bed & balcony overlooking the quieter side of the property. The hotel itself, pool and beach areas were all very pretty and well-maintained. As non-smoking individual, I did not like that nearly all outdoor areas on the property were smoking-friendly.

I have stayed here before but it is now renovated. They did an amazing job. The entire facility is great and the staff even better. The restaurants are also great. I would definitely stay here a third time. Great accomodations as well.

The best vacation ever! Hotel is amazing, very clean, from the pool, bathrooms, room, everything was great. Hotel staff were phenomenal, very helpful and friendly, Briley at buffet is the best. Hector and friends were super entertaining!! Definitely recommending this hotel

The a la carte dining options were all extremely good and unique. The breakfast and lunch buffet options were very good with a huge variety.

I love the service, their staff are wonderful. The cleaning around hallways, stair cases or floors could do better. I think the staff go beyond their job description to satisfy customers and make sure everyone enjoys their stay. I enjoyed the trip very much. Thank you to tall the staff and specially the employees at the buffet’s, they are great employees.

Check in was awful, they checked someone else in under our name. Finally they figured it out, told them we were with VIP Expedia then asked about room upgrade was told it would cost an extra 200. Declined to pay more, our room tv didn’t work, shower flooded the room. Toilet seat fell off.
