Comida muy poco variada!

Absolutely LOVED this hotel & neighboring property, Senator! The ambiance is amazing, music and activities throughout the day. Beach was prestine and amazing - definitely felt like it was a getaway! Very family friendly and yet separate enough for the adults! The staff at the restaurants and bars were AMAZING; the animation teams of this and Senator hotel were GREAT! Amazing people to speak to and enjoy the activities with! I am absolutely and undoubtedly returning within the next year

Rooms are old, not enough staffs to support you at the restaurant, only one a la carta restaurant per day, not too many varierty of food, too many people and you need to line up for almost an hour just to eat at the buffet

Playa Bachata is not nice at all, too many people, too litle options for the food, only one restaurant a la carta per day, you need to line up before 7:30 am if you want to go to a la carta restaurant that day, and if you go after 8am, forget it, you won't be able to go at all... some rooms are so old and smells like humidity, the good part about the hotel is the staff and the beach, they don't have variety for food also...

One had 1 pool and it was not good enough The was very Dominican Traditional, need more international food choices

Horrible, there was too many people here. The food is terrible and there is a huge line everywhere you go for food! The worst resort I ever visited

I love this hotel but this visit was really disappointing due at check-in there too many people at the desk and staff were not respecting the order of line so I could see how desk attendant we receiving money from customer to make no the line, at the buffet was a mess too many people and big lines to get food so was no my best visit.

Reserve en este hotel sin mirar los review de otro huéspedes cuando mire todo los comentarios pensé que no era para tanto lamentablemente todo es siento yo entre y salí solo mire el bufete literal no tenía casi comida los baños sucio y algo descuidado pero lo peor fue que las piscina no tenían agua solo estaba llena por la mita este hotel no se le puede dar una estrella.

Staff was super friendly but it looked like the place was falling apart. Fridge did not work, we asked about it and it was not fixed during out stay. Roof was leaking. Dinning room was unorganized.

Dining was limited with only 1 restaurant to choose from outside of daily buffet options. The rooms were small and AC was not working well. The physical keys were an inconvenience and the rooms were far from lobby/restaurant/pool and beach. Overall, staff was nice and accommodating. But will not be returning to this particular resort.

Everything was so perfect the staff and everyone else except this guy that works in the night by the loby his name is Finesse be aware of him very rude Man he treated us like we don’t belong there and like don’t care about costumers at all everyone else was super friendly and helpful specially the day dancers chocolate and happy boy and the rest of them very nice people. Please look out for that finesse Guy if he’s fired i would come back again . Btw no Wifi on rooms only loby .

PlayBachata was honestly a huge disappointment. From the moment I arrived, I didn’t feel welcome. The staff were rude and aggressive when speaking to people — no smiles, no respect, just attitude. There were serious issues with the environment too: bugs everywhere, dirty facilities, and overall poor hygiene standards. For the price, that’s unacceptable. What bothered me most was the clear favoritism and borderline racist behavior from some staff. If you weren’t part of their inner circle or looked a certain way, you were treated differently — like you didn’t belong. It was uncomfortable and disheartening. The food? Terrible. It was the same thing every day, bland and barely edible. And while they said drinks were included, you had to pay extra if you wanted anything other than the basic cheap stuff. Even something as simple as a Corona beer wasn’t included. Seriously? This event had potential, but between the bad attitude, poor organization, lack of diversity, and hidden charges — it felt more like a money grab than a celebration of bachata. I won’t be coming back.

Property is old and beat up. Price does not match the value. Staff was great

The hotel overall was clean, the food was okay (not the best) and there is only one pool available, so it is very crowded. The rooms are outdated so many things are broken or are poorly maintained.

The fod is not well prepared to be buffet.to long line to pick up .never have to do so long line to eat
